I wanted to create a fun movie package for my daughters little get-together with a friend. They want a little movie night, and I wanted to make it fun. Each girl will be armed with a bucket full of Caramel Corn, a soda with a bow, and a little packet of candy chocolate. Add on to that 2 fun girly movies, little tickets for their entrance, and lots of giggling, and you have the perfect recipe for fun! For all you Silhouette owners out there, this popcorn bucket is a free download this week. It is super easy and fun to make. The tickets are a Papertrey stamp and die set called “Just the Ticket”.
So as you know I am a huge fan of die cut machines, and one of the things which I love about my Silhouette, is that fact that they offer a free download each week, You can use existing fonts from your computer, and it is so easy to import graphics into your Silhouette Design Studio. The machine is very small (accepts 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper), but that makes it really convinient for pulling out for small projects. Also it is very affordable. I love the fact that you can buy cuts by the design from the online store, and you can download them right away for use. The machine can handle very intricate cuts, and there are so many fun products to use with it, like vinyl, fuzzy vinyl, heat transfer vinyl for fabrics, tattoo paper, magnet paper, print and iron on transfers, sketching pens… See what I am getting at? I have been eyeing the Silhouette for over a year and finally bought one through the deal on the Shopping Channel. I love it! I am having a hard time figuring out how to upload box designs I have already to it – do you know of a tutorial or will you be doing one for PCL? I have loved playing with it, but would like to be able to do more.

yes I am starting the Silhouette Series right now. I had to learn how to use the software for recording the computer screen, and am now beginning the series. It should be up within a month.
