Thanks so Much Bug

For this Card, I decided to play around with Pro Markers, which are an alcohol marker like Copic.  They are somewhat different though.  I find that the Pro markers are a little more finicky, and they do not blend quite as smoothly on the same papers as Copic, but I am starting to get used to it.  The also seem to have a bit more of a softness to them.  I wanted to make a small thank you card for a friend, and decided on this cute Hanglas and Stanglar image for my card.

Supplies:

  • Stamps:  Hanglar Stanglar
  • Ink:  Rager Industries: Distress inks in:  Walnut, Peeled Paint, Memento in Tuxedo Black
  • Paper:  C.C. Designs: Copic Quality 110 lbs. white, Stampin’ Up!:  Shimmer White CS, Certainly Celery, Old Olive CS, Georgia Peach DP (Stampin’ Up! retired)
  • Coloring medium:  Pro Markers,  Stampin’ Up! Chocolate Chip marker, Stampin’Up! pastels
  • Other:  Cuttlebug die machine, Spellbinder Pinking circles, Stampin’ Up! Rub-ons, Stamping Sponges, Spica: orange glitter pen, White gel pen, Sponge Dauber

  1. oh i want to know where you got this stamps… i’ve been looking for those since a while !!

  2. Same question as Charline. Where can these stamps be purchased, better just, where–online.

  3. I liked last year’s SU valentine paper so much beter than what they had this year. As evidenced by this card, it can be used for many occassions.

  4. Oh wow, fabulous card, and darn it, just told myself I really wouldn’t use those spellbinder dies, and now I will have to add them to my wish list, they look great.

  5. What a beautiful card! Don’t you just love Spellbinders … I use my Copics quite a bit and enjoy them so I will be interested to read/see more about this new brand over on PCL. Thanks so much for broadening our horizons!
