Wishing You a Speedy Recovery Video Tutorial

For this week’s free project I wanted to share with you a card I created using Lawn Fawn’s adorable “On The Mend” stamp set. Although all the images are absolutely adorable, I just couldn’t resist the little bandaid, especially with a pair of googly eyes LOL!  I used my Copic Markers to color in the band-aid images and you’ll see how quick and easy that was in the video.

Watch the video below to see how I created this Wishing You a Speedy Recovery card.

Stamps: On the Mend (Lawn Fawn)

Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento ink (Tsukineko); E50, E51, E53 Copic markers (Copic)

Paper: Stamper’s Select White CS (papertrey ink); Double Dutch Collection (Lily Bee Designs)

Accessories: bone folder, paper snips, glue dots, Craft scissors, Googlies (Stampin’ Up!); Honeydew baker’s twine (The Twinery); Chartreuse Vintage button (papertrey ink)

Have a great weekend!

  1. There’s always a fine line on get well cards between being too maudlin and being too flippant. I think this is the perfect card to cheer someone’s spirits. Googly eyes just have that effect, while the sentiment is heartfelt.

  2. Another great card! I happen to love Lawn Fawn and this stamp set in particular. Great job showing how to color with Copics! I enjoyed the addition of the googly eyes, makes for a fun touch.

  3. I absolutely LOVE this card! Adding the googly eyes makes the card pop! I have googly eyes with my other crafting supplies (Girl Scouts) but honestly never thought of adding to cards. Since I no longer have a troop I think I’ll move them into my stamping room. I also appreciate you showing how to use the Copic markers.

  4. Really cute card which will bring a smile to anyone and make them feel better! I like how everything is at an angle.

  5. What a Cheerful Card. I love it and will enjoy making this cute card. It is never fun to be ill and this card would bring a smile to the recipient.
