Trendy Tuesday – Sequins
by Katherine Elliot
Sequins are lightweight, mess-free embellishments that add sparkle and dimension to a project and wow, are they trendy right now! When added to a card, they won”t bulk up your project so you can easily send them through the mail which is another added plus. Take a look at some of the beautifully embellished creations I found to share this week featuring this trend…

You can find sequins in a full spectrum of color and a variety of sizes. They are often available in bulk quantities at your local craft store so you”re unlikely to run out of them very quickly. That means you don”t have to hesitate to use a little or a lot.

Add some well placed, shiny sequins or randomly sprinkle sparkling metallic sequins for a lovely dash of bling on your projects.

Iridescent and semi-transparent sequins are beautiful, too. See-through the pretty, extra large sequin highlighting the masked banner on the gorgeous, watercolor inspired card below featuring stamps from Mama Elephant.
