Welcome to regular Freebie Friday Feature. Each Friday on the Paper Crafter’s Library Blog we spotlight a product that we’ve used and love, we show you some project ideas using that product (including a free video tutorial for one of the projects), and then, we do a give-away.
This week we’re spotlighting a fun collection by My Mind’s Eye called “Love Me”. It comes with 9 sheets of double-sided cardstock pper and 1 sheet of perforated elements. Among the many things I love about this collection is that along with the traditional reds and pinks of Valentine’s – it adds in an unexpected pop of color – the light blue. This is something that they do with many of their collections – throwing in one of more unexpected colors – and I LOVE IT! In this collection you’ll also see a number of trendy elements incorporated into the patterns – things like doilies, banners, vintage ads, bingo style, text, notebook paper etc.
For our free video we’re going to show you how to make this cute little “Be Mine” Valentine’s Treat Pouch created using paper from the Love Me collection.
You can see a close-up of the collection as well as watch a video tutorial on how the pouch was made here:
Here are a couple of other projects using that collection which we’ve posted over the last few weeks. The first is this “Be My Valentine” card with a heart shaped window.
The next project is this U Rock card which is perfect for a teen:
Finally, there’s this smitten card, which I like because it’s not overtly feminine so it would be great for a guy:
All of these last three projects have video tutorials and pdfs available to our Paper Crafter’s Library members in our Video Library.
And, now finally, the winner of the last week’s Freebie Friday for the Fancy Pants Designs Love Story Collection:
And the winner is………………
Congratulations Ellen! We are so sorry for your loss and hope that this might bring a little smile to your face. To claim your prize please email us at customerservice@papercrafterslibrary.com.
My Mind’s Eye Love Me Collection Give-Away
In order to enter to win this collection please leave us a comment in the comments section of this post – we’d love to hear your thoughts on our blog, and what you’d love to see in this coming year! The winner for the Love Me collection will be drawn and announced next Friday!

I love the doilies, and the vintage ad look paper! This would be great for making a masculine card for my husband!
What a beautiful “Be Mine” Valentine’s Treat Pouch! The videos make it so easy to follow the directions. The papers would be awesome to make Valentines treats for all my friends we left behind when moving to another state after retirement. Thank you for providing such beautiful works of art and supplies and being so generous with you generous give-aways.

Although I am basically a cardmaker, I do enjoy seeing your creativity with non-card projects. Seems that whatever project you’re doing, you always have helpful hints that are applicable more genericallly as well, so I almost always learn something helpful relative to technique or product or concept.
Having worked in the field of education for the last 40 years, I can appreciate your clear and precise explanations throughout your tutorials. Your ideas are wonderful and so easy to follow. I can’t wait to try them.

I recently found your video tutorials on You Tube and have enjoyed finding your website too. It’s extra fun to find the giveaway! 🙂 Mine Mind’s Eye is one of my favorites because of the beauty and sturdiness of their papers. Thanks for the chance to win some of their products.
What a treasure Paper Crafter’s Library is! I’m loving all of your wonderful ideas. As a fairly new stamper, I needed guidance and inspiration. Your site is awesome! I love the beautiful Valentines paper that you used in today’s video. I guess a treat pouch is in my future! LOL!
I really love this paper. I like the fact that it is not one particular theme, it has many different designs and colors.
I just love your video’s. I followed all of them at Christmas and made several things you showed. Keep up the great fun things to do. I really enjoy everything you show.
I loved the great assortment in the,”Love Me” Collection and love you for sharing the projects using them. Who won’t want to be the Lucky winner! Thanks

Mary
I love your tutorials & always learn something from them. I would like to see more tips on design elements, using patterned papers together. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us & for a chance to win some awesome products.
All I can say is that I appreciate all the hard work that you do keeping up the blog. Your creativity and willingness to share it is amazing. You ask what I would like to see in the blog … it seems to me that you really do everything already! I guess something that might be of help to myself and others would be ideas using some of the old “outdated” items that we have in our stashes … things (bits and pieces) from 10 years or so! I know, I am really bad! …..
Be my Valentine! So much love in these cards, Thanks for sharing.
I love watching all your tutorials love the cute valentine day pouch. Thanks for the chance to win the beautiful paper kit
These are great cards! Love the tutorial-can’t wait to make some for the special folks in my life. Thanks for sharing.
This tutorial is really great. I so enjoy receiving your emails because I know wthat whatever is there will be something that will lift my spirits and brighten my day. Thanks so much.
I am just a novice and have just found your website. Thank you for the great inspiring ideas.
Valentines Day is my absolute favorite Holiday. I live in Alaska where this time of a year it is still fairly dark most of the day. After Christmas and New Years we rest in January. Valentines day is a sort of Pre-Spring. The combination of Reds, Pinks, Hearts and Cupids bring a childish giggle to me and bring back such fun memories. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas. I can’t wait to get started. Hugs
Love your videos and pdfs. They are so well done and easy to follow. Thanks for the chance to win!
I love all the projects you share with everyone. As for upcoming projects, I especially like 3D
Love all of your ideas. I’m excited to start valentines. I always do something fun for the kids to hand out at school.
Your directions are always so clear and complete; thank you. The treat pouch is great. I didn’t know about the thin velcro-like product. I’ll be looking for that..
Happy creating.
Wow, what a great video tutorial. I love this cardstock and I really liked the idea with the velcro. I am going to try to do this project for my grandsons class for Valentine’s Day. TFS.
I love what you’ve done with the paper set. I had never thought about the extra color thrown in before but you’re right on with what it does. I thoroughly enjoy seeing all you create and the inspiration it provides. Thank you!
I love to watch your tutorials. I love the mine minds eye paper collections. The colors and patterns they use are always beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration and sharing ideas.
I just love seeing your blog as it always makes me feel like I can’t wait to get creative again. I love that you share so many ideas for free, and yet you still have giveaways! I would love an easy way to get back into things since I have a 2 month old and this collection would be a great start and an easy way to allow my 3 year old to make something with me. I love seeing new card ideas, but I really love unique creations, like using a birthday hat for a photo book instead of a plain old photo book so I think I would like to see more of that type of thing for this year’s creations. Ways to store things (candy, cards, gifts) and keep things (photos, momentos etc) other than a plain old album interest me, just like the advent calendar and the ornament you had for the holidays.
Love this tutorial. I think I’ll be making a few of these treat pouches for some friends for Valentine’s Day. My Mind’s Eye always has gorgeous paper and these are no exception. Thanks for a chance to win some. Please keep up your videos and pdfs. I use them quite often.
That for sharing your project. I love the papers you used and are giving away.

I always get a little weak when I see your name in my email inbox. You have never disappointed!!! When it comes to your projects and ideas I am helpless to resist. I have used many, many of your ideas to treat teachers, neighbors and friends. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful ideas and products. I only wish you lived nearer so that I could see you in action up close.
Stunning projects!
Thanks for all the great ideas you post. This is a such a cute change from the regular cello bag with a topper.
Great colors in this pack of papers. Thanks for the great tutorial!
Sweetie, I love this paper. I hope I win. I would use it to make cards or bookmarks for people at my church. I teach on Sunday. On Tuesday evenings we have Youth Night. I help with the crafts and the cooking. I would start with the children, ages newborn through 18 years. Then I would gift the special needs adults…then the other adults. I think that this year I will make bookmarks with JOHN 3:16 on one side and a nice loving verse on the other side. Actually, I will start making the tassels tomorrow…I will have to make about 90 bookmarks! I sure hope I win!
I always make so many valentines with my granddaughters so this paper would definitely help out! They love this valentine pouch so it is on our list of projects to make! Thanks so much for the great projects!
Love those papers! They will be perfect for a Valentine’s card for my hubby! Great job!
Thank you for this wonderful video and handout. I have a swap coming up that I will have to
make these for! Loved the doilies in the paper pack.
Such a great project that works for even beginners like me!! I’ve found a new passion for crafting when I started paper crafts and stamping! I’m planning on making several of these for parents of my tutoring kids! May love and blessings abound for your team this Valentine’s Day!!
Well, I have to say I do miss your stampin’ up! exclusive projects. I love your projects and it just gives me the extra challenge of how to recreate it with stampin’ up stuff. Thank you so much for sharing
WoW ! I just love your videos. I have followed your site from the beginning of my stampin start.
I have cased a few of your projects. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Thank you for the great Treat Pouch Idea. I love the paper collection . It would make some wonderful cards for children and teen’s. I especially like the one “U ROCK” idea.. We make Valentines’s each year to give to the children who are in the hospital. They love to get Valentine’s, but we really can’t give them treats so we give them cards. It is a fun thing to do as a group, to brighten their day. We have also found that the Senior Citizens love to get cards also. We want to let them know that they are thought of ALL YEAR Round. Again, thanks for the ideas. “U ROCK”!!!!!
This it awesome. I would love to win.
I love the way that you site caters for the beginner and more experienced alike. I have always seen PTI, Bo Bunny and My Mind’s Eye papers, but have shyed away from them as most of the stuff I have is SU. Seeing how you co-ordinate these papers with SU stuff gives me a little more added bravado to go out and try a couple of new things….besides….you never can have too many papers…right??? ooxx
These papers are beautiful! I love Valentine’s papers. I love the colors in these, they’re just so pretty.
You always have such lovely cards. Thank You!
Thanks for the chance to win. I love your projects and enjoying seeing your new posts. TFS
I love your videos. They are informative, interesting and always helpful! It was nice to see the entire packet of papers and add ons. Your project was fun and looks like I can reproduce it!
Such a great video on a wonderful Valentine’s project. Thanks for sharing!
Love MME’s papers this is no exception. Great tut.
Thanks again for your wonderful projects.
TFS the product update, I love your videos and am a regular at watching them, I have learnt so many tricks from yoru video. Thank you for being so generous.
This collection is absolutely adorable…
I love the doilies and plaids and and banners and antique-y papers! Your videos are the best — you never miss a detail or a hint. The hearts are very subtle, just the way I like them. Thanks for sharing your incredible talent. I know it must take a lot of effort and time to come up with projects, film them, narrate them, edit them. Like I said, yours are the best.
Your Valentine’s Cards are each unique and very appropriate for
all ages…I like a vintage, shabby-chic look to my cards…
I would love to see examples of these styles of cards!
Many thanks, Cindi
I love your blog and all the creative ideas. I really enjoy the show casing of a brand new papers especially my minds eye, echo park, stampin up. Maybe some Teresa Collins as I love her papers too!! Thanks for the giveaway.
I have been stamping for a while but just recently discovered My Mind Eye’s Papers. I just love them. I recently ordered some for my collection but don’t have this particular collection. We celebrate Valentines very quietly, My husband and I have been married over 40 yrs so we don’t do the big things but just do a special evening just the two of us. I also send my grandchildren who live far away a card just to let them know that they are very much loved and that we are thinking of them. Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorials and ideas, I look forward to receiving them.
Love Love love this paper line!!! Wow so many great patterns to play with! Looks like a must have!
Oh wow…what does everyone want? More free videos! I love your techniques and have learned so much from you this passed year! Thanks so much! I really love your Make Over Monday Challenges and your give aways – hope I win one of these days! Thanks for the opportunity!
I really like the not so traditional cardstock in the Love Me collection. And I like the banners and doillies. I can see the kit making Valentines a snap. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. As for your blog, I must say the how to videos and the very crisp photos of your creations are the main reasons I keep coming back. When your projects are pictured so beautifully, I can’t help but be inspired to craft!! Keep up the great work!

Awsome
I just love the simplicity ;yet so pretty and a joy to share….thank you for the inspiration!
One of the things I absolutely love about your blog is you keep me on a good schedule to make projects in time for special days during the year. I love to make hand-made cards and gifts for my friends and family, but I always seem to think about things too late to actually get them done before the holiday. Thanks for getting me thinking about Valentines NOW rather than the week before when I would have to be up all night for several nights in a row to get everything I want to do finished.
I also love that your ideas are simple enough for my 13 year old daughter to follow on her own, but elegant enough that I, too, (who have been papercrafting for many more years than that) enjoy making them as well. We are going to make some of these lovely valnetine’s pouches together! Thank you for the ideas!
The “Love Me” paper collection is beautiful. I can see endless possibilities for each sheet. Thanks for your great tutorials. I appreciate your sharing your creativity with us.
Thanks for all the fab ideas, I love it when my phone bleeps and there is another post from you, I can’t wait to get to my computer and watch the tutorials! You have a special ring binder in my craft room for all the pdf hand outs, I craft on a budget and just love the way that your ideas can be adapted to the stash that I have without having to rush out and buy more supplies before I can have a go. I would like to see ideas for male cards and gifts as although your ideas can be adapted male cards are so difficult. I also like the way that you use products which are mainly widely available as I am from the other side of the pond! and we don’t always get the same products.
Keep up the good work.
Beautiful collection! Wonderful cards! Thanks for your job)
