Product Spotlight & Freebie Friday: My Mind’s Eye 12 Days of Christmas Collection….Enter to Win! + Winners of Last Week’s Freebie Friday

*the winner of this Freebie Friday Giveaway is posted at the bottom of the post HERE*

Welcome to another edition of Freebie Friday!  Today we’re going to spotlight another fun paper collection by My Mind’s Eye, I’m going to share with you five different projects I made using that collection, I’ll give you details about this week’s give-away, aaaaand, I’m going to announce the winner from last week’s Freebie Friday!

I was first “introduced” to My Mind’s Eye at CHA (Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show) in Chicago this past summer.  I had never heard of them before and didn’t really own any of their product.  Soph and I just happened to be walking by their booth, when their bright colorful display caught our eye.  As we browsed through the booth, we were struck by the wide variety of design styles you see in their products, and loved everything we saw.  The sales representatives were also very friendly and helpful, and willing to work with us.

So you’ll definitely be seeing a lot more from their line.  For today, we want to introduce you to this fun and bright collection called “12 Days of Christmas”.  Our video below will give you a closer look:

Today we’ve created a series of projects to highlight the versatility of this collection. We have put together a free video tutorial and pdf handout for BOTH the pocket style gift card holder AND the CD Sleeve-Style Treat holder  The Lollypop box is a Paper Crafter’s Library exclusive available as a Silhouette cut file, or as a downloadable PDF to Paper Crafter’s Library members only.  All the projects are simple yet elegant, and can easily be adapted to other holidays.

We are also giving away the My Mind’s Eye Mischievous Collection pack you see pictured above to ONE lucky winner…..more details on how to enter at the end of this post

 Gift Card Holder Simple Closed

The first project today is this sweet Pocket Gift Card Holder. It’s held shut by a ribbon closure, and when you open it up you see the gift card tucked into the pocket inside.  We have a free video tutorial with handout for this video HERE.

Gift Card Holder Simple Open

The next project is a CD Slevve-Style Treat Holder.  The template is an original one I created that was inspired by a decorated CD sleeve I saw in the most recent issue of Paper Crafts Magazine.  I wanted something smaller to hold just a few treats.  Other products featured for this project include the Spellbinder’s Grand Calibur (which I did a review and video on last week), as well as Spellbinder’s Nestabilities and dies.  You can watch a free video tutorial for this HERE.

CD Sleeve-Style Treat Holder

I created a second gift card holder, this with a hook and loop closure:

Gift Card Holder Closed

When you open it up, the gift card pops up!  Paper Crafter’s Library Members can view the video HERE.

Gift Card Holder Open

I also created a set of two gift boxes which are perfectly sized to hold a generous amount of treats.  Paper Crafter’s Library Members can view the video here.

Holiday Treat Holder

Finally, I created this 12 x 12 scrapbook layout which you can see below. I glittered up the elements and created little wrapped candies out of cello using the swirly circular die cut elements from the kit. Paper Crafter’s Library members can view the video from here.

  1. Favorite Christmas tradition is getting up very early the day after Thanksgiving for the shopping. We have been doing this since my son was born and he is 16. I think he enjoys it more than the rest of us.
This paper collection is very whimsical.

  2. Appreciate you showing us My Mind’s Eye paper collections as I’ve never used them yet either. My favorite Christmas tradition is listening to Christmas music while baking and serving ham on Christmas Eve just like my Mom used to do for us when growing up.

  3. My favourite holiday tradition is opening gifts Christmas morning then making eggs benedict for everyone who happens to stop by. We’ve had friends of our children come by because they’ve heard of our Christmas breakfast tradition. We always have lots on hand “just in case” we have a house full!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge of paper crafting with all of us. We are all enriched because of your talents.

  4. Love this collection!!! My favourite Christmas tradition is the tree, I just love to decorete the tree and add every year something special. Thanks for chance to win!!!

  5. My favorite holiday tradition is having all the kids in house open one gift under the tree on Christmas Eve. Thanks for the opportunity

  6. I am a fan of MME; I bought a Christmas (snowed in) collection of theirs a couple of years ago and am still hoarding some of the paper! Having a gingerbread part; we started it when the kids were very small and would invite friends and their families. A few years ago, the kids started to invite their own choice of friends.
    Thanks for the chance!

  7. My favourite holiday tradition is to choose the christmas tree with my daughter et to decorate it after a good hot chocolate. Thank you for give us the chance to win this kit.

  8. My favorite family tradition was making spritz cookies which was my Grandmothers recipe. I would love to win the 12 days of Christmas packet!

  9. Two of our favorite family traditions at Christmas is (1) The breaky – EGGS BENEDICT! The kids LOVE it and even brag about it to others, and (2) My husband reads the Christmas story from the Bible, and our kids act it out with the Little People Nativity set we have. It’s very fun, and the kids have a blast.

Thanks for all you share, including the opportunity to try new products through your give a ways! I’ve been paper crafting for over 20 years and it never ceases to amaze me what we have at our disposal to celebrate our families through our creativity!!

  10. Thanks for the chance to win this collection it is so pretty. My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies with my mother every single year since I’ve been a child. We always try a new cookie every year.

  11. My fave tradition is to buy each of my kids an ornament for their tree. It will reflect something that occurred that year in their lives. It has been passed down to theri kids as a tradition now.

  12. My favorite Christmas tradition is going to San Francisco and riding the cable car with a lot of friends and family. We sing Christmas carols and have a great time. We make a round trip from Union Square and then when we come back, we all go to Ghiradelli’s for a treat. Always Fun!!!!

  13. My favourite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree – always has been since I was a kid. I get my children involved now too and I put on my favourite Christmas music while we do it! Such fun! Of course, I have way too many decorations for one tree, so I also put garlands in my livingroom/dining room windows and hang decorations from there and then it spills over onto the fireplace mantle and along the top of our entertainment unit. Sometimes I use the trees I take to craft fairs as well, so it can get like a forest inside my house but I love it and it looks so beautiful with the lights off! Only a few more weeks until decorating day!!

  14. I love MME. My favorite holiday tradition is to go to all of the bazaars around the community. I luv to see the wonderful talents of others and run into old friends. Thanks for everything you post. I just found you and it has been like a candy store for me, except calorie free!!!

  15. My favorite Holiday Tradition is when I stay at my sisters for Christmas and we get up very early Christmas day and we all open up our gifts. Then we just sit around and enjoy the whole day. I really would love to have a chance to win that paper. I am going to make my own Christmas cards this year.

  16. Thanks for the opportunity to win this collection! This line is new to me too!! My favorite Christmas tradition is listening to Christmas music with the lights off, Christmas tree lights & candle light only. So peaceful. I LOVE it. I make a point of doing it several times, if possible, through the season – it re-focuses me on the real meaning of Christmas & slows me down when I need it!!

  17. Our favorite tradition is having fajitas for Christmas eve dinner
Thanks for having these great giveaways

  18. My Mind’s Eye is my FAVORITE paper line. I LOVE it and I can never have enough of it!! This paper is so cute and would be a nice addition to my “collection!” Thanks for a chance to win. I love all the projects y’all created with it!! They are wonderful!! Thanks again!

  19. I got so carried away about the paper that I forgot to tell you my favorite holiday tradition!!! We open our presents on Christmas Eve night and spend most of the night ‘playing’ with them!!!

  20. My favourite Christmas Tradition is to hang paintings and felt cutouts that my grandchildren have made in their Kindergarten days they can’t believe I still have them and also a set out a Nativity Scene with a small Manger with Child that has been with me since I was a child many years ago. Also our Christmas Lunch with my Family and our Family Photo afterwards which then is placed in my Scrapbook Album along with other Christmas Day photos.

  21. Favorite tradition: Christmas eve church candlelight service, lay out beer & pretzels for Santa, “Magic Reindeer Oats” sprinkled on the lawn, hot cocoa & a Christmas story. Then Christmas Day, stockings, presents, Monkey Bread w/Venison egg bake & lots of laughter!…..Nothing better then to see Christmas thru a childs twinkling eyes & sweet laughter, oh, and the goofiness of a Labrador Retreiver! Thanks for sharring such awesome ideas!

  22. I’ve been such a fan of My Minds Eye papers for quite a while and it seems like they always keep getting better and better. The people at MME are also a PLUS….they have such great personalities! Thank you for the chance to win one of these fabulous collections AND your free tutorials for such a great projects! My favorite Christmas tradition is going to look at all of the Christmas lights with the kids in neighborhoods around our house after we open presents on Christmas Eve with my extended family. After our return home and getting ready for bed with prayers for Jesus’ Birthday, they leave a cookie and milk for Santa Claus and wake up early Christmas morning to see what he has brought them! This has been the tradition I have grown up with and I hope we will continue this way with our kids and they can continue with their kids and so on and so on…

  23. Every Christmas Eve we take a drive with our 5yo to see all the houses decorated with Christmas lights (normally he is in bed before it’s dark enough to see the lights so this is a super treat for him – Southern Hemisphere) and then we come home and he sprinkles reindeer food all over the lawn before stories and bedtime.

  24. My favorite Xmas tradition is taking my granddaughters to church Xmas Eve. We started this several years ago and they really look forward to it and we thoroughly enjoy it! Of course they also like baking all the cookies that go with the holiday!

  25. My favorite tradition is to go to the children’s service at church on Christnas Eve–I love to see all of the kiddos all dressed up and so excited for the evening. We then drive around and look at Christmas lights and hope it is snowing! Then, home for a evening snack of fresh shrimp and some bubbly! Fun Night!

I too love My Mind’s Eye–the colors are so bright and they have great patterns! It would be awesome to win this set. Thanks for the opportunity.

  26. Awesome paper! The pop up gift card holder is very creative and the My Mind’s Eye is veru well coordinated.
I give a few gift cards for the holidays the gift holder is a great way topresent it. Thank you for the great idea!

  27. Very pretty set-thanks for sharing it with us! My favorite traditions for Christmas include going to the Christmas Tree farm and cutting down our own tree and then decorating it, including many of the ornaments from my children and past students. I also love setting up my snowman collection- running out of room to show all that I have. Finally, I am excited to get into my car tomorrow and officially change my radio station for the season, since at least 2 radio stations have switched to Holiday music until the day after Christmas- newer tradition, but nonetheless, one of my traditions 🙂 Now, to wait for the snow * * * * *

  28. I love these papers & projects – so holiday cheerful 🙂

One of my favourite holiday traditions is walking up the hill in the snow after supper to get a starbucks holiday latte, and stopping to look at the frozen river and all the pretty lights along the way. We go at least once in the season.

  29. Our yearly tradition is to get up early the day after Thanksgiving and make a trip up to our 0ld Township to visit the family cemetery and get the graves all ready and decorated for Christmas. It always makes us feel like we are including our departed loved ones in the holidays and they are not forgotten. Then we meet up with old friends from our old neighborhood and have lunch. When we get home, I start writing my Christmas cards and working on my homemade cards.

  30. Wow, beautiful paper, as usual. My favourite new tradition is to get the family together to watch the movie ELF, we just love that film, and gets us all in the Christmas mood. Even Grandpa and Grandmpa love it.

  31. One of my favorite family traditions is the private celebration we have with our kids before we travel to go see the relatives. I cherish the private time that we have with the kids opening gifts and enjoying snacks and catching up with each other.

  32. My favourite holiday tradition is to watch “A Christmas Story” with my father every year. I have been doing do ever since I was a little girl. Christmas just is not Christmas without watching the movie! I look forward to meeting up with my father now that I am an adult to watch the movie…a nice hot cup of coffee and the great company!

  33. I LOVE My Mind’s Eye papers. I haven’t used any in a long time and these look so cute for the holidays.
I’m looking forward to starting my Christmas projects soon, and hoping to rope my Mom into crafting with me this year.

  34. My favorite Christmas tradition is putting the final touch to our Christmas tree. I have been putting a white dove of peace in its nest in the center of the tree; I am 62 years young and have beeing doing this since I was a small child. I even have the orignal bird and nest that my mother used. It is such a wonderful way to bring back all those childhood memories.

  35. Amazing projects! My favorite holiday tradition is putting out a piece of the nativity out each night as a family.

  36. We have so many traditions its hard to pick one! But if I have to …. it would be getting together with family and friends to create our Christmas cards and tags and wrapping paper. We get together for an all day event and have a potluck and just craft listen to Christmas music and just spend time together — I love it!
Thanks for a chance to win — you are such an inspiration!

  37. Beautiful papers! My favorite holiday tradition would be decorating the Christmas tree while listening to Christmas music!

  38. My favorite holiday tradition is midnight mass. It is so moving, and gets the holiday started out with the focus on what it’s all about.

  39. Thanks for the fabulous ideas and for always being so thorough. Our favorite holiday tradition is to sit around in our pajamas while opening gifts on Christmas morning. 🙂

  40. Thanks for the chance to win!
I love to sit by the Christmas tree, Christmas lights on and all the other lights off. Music playing and the kids and I sit over the heat register with a blanket and watch it snow.

  41. This is a fantastic paper collection! I just love everything from My Mind’s Eye, but I don’t have any of this collection yet, so I would love to win it!! My favorite holiday tradition is beginning my holiday decorating the day after Thanksgiving. I get the majority done that weekend, but I tend to continue decorating up until Christmas! It’s the only time of the year I can get away with displaying that much glitter in every room of the house!

  42. I always have to work on christmas day so we always celebrate the day before or when its my day off, i do enjoy being with family.
    Janine

  43. My favorite tradition is Christmas breakfast with homemade croissants. Love it!
I love all the projects, and this collection is gorgeous! Thank you for the chance to win!

  44. I’m a big fan of MME paper and embellishments!
Our family tradition, after eating and clearing away the traditional turkey dinner, is to play games. Santa brings a new board or card game every year so we break open the box, figure out the instructions and give it a “go” Our all time favourites, though, are “Clue” and “Taboo”.
Thanks for the chance to win.
    Sharon
    aka Celticrafter

  45. Mom and I usually go to the after Christmas sales to begin shopping for the next year. I always enjoy this day.

  46. My favorite holiday tradition is to get together with the family and make tamales to eat for Christmas morning. It’s not easy because people are busy at this time of year, but it is so wonderful to teach the nieces & nephews about our Mexican culture. And soon they will be teaching their children.

  47. Thank you once again for sharing these great project ideas. My favorite Christmas tradition is the opening of one package on Christmas Eve. My mother’s family always gathered on this evening to do gift exchanges with cousins because there were so many of us that we drew names at the Thanksgiving dinner celebration. Thus everyone on Christmas Eve opened one gift – kids and adults too! And one of my Aunts would offer their house as the place to meet, thus every 6th year it would be at our house. These special celebrations always included special holiday food treats as well with each Aunt bringing their “own” special one to share. In my husband’s family they are very small in comparison but they always choose 1 gift from under the tree to share on Christmas Eve as well. Thus the traditions of old continue for our daughter, no matter which family we celebrate with each year.

  48. I LOVE My Mind’s Eye!!! It has truly been my absolute favorite paper line for years!! Totally my style! Thanks for the give-aways!
Ok, one of my favorite holiday traditions for the adults at Christmas, is this: Everyone brings a wrapped gift, usually $5-$20, then everyone is given a number on a piece of paper. Starting at #1, each person picks a gift, then opens it for all to see. Now, for the really fun part–every person after can choose to “steal” that gift, or pick their own. If your gift gets stolen, you get to choose to steal someone else’s gift(not the one that got stolen from you–but later on, if another one of your presents gets stolen, THEN you could steal back your original–OR you could just pick a new gift. This is ALWAYS the biggest hoot, and we kill ourselves laughing every year! The kids all get to watch, and cheer on people and laugh along with us! Funny, how they’d probably cry if they played this, but it’s funny to them when it’s other people! LOL!

  49. My favorite Christmas holiday tradition is from my Polish grandparents….we share a wafer before dinner called Oplatki, except since I was a kid we just called it ‘PINCH’ ! Everyone gets a piece and you go around the table pinching off of others’ wafer and they pinch a piece off of yours. My grandfather always pinches the smallest amount from everyone and has some left. My younger cousins would see if they could get the biggest piece off of yours. It’s great fun and a wonderful memory of my grandmother when she was still with us.

  50. My favorite tradition is getting all of the grandparents and my children together for Christmas Eve dinner and then afterwords sitting around in a circle taking turns opening gifts, By opening the gifts this way, everyone gets to see who got what and from whom, also gives the giver the chance to watch his/her gift being opened.

  51. The annual “making of the Christmas cards” is probably my favorite holiday tradition.
I also look forward to the kids Christmas pageant at church because of the annual appearance of
the Christmas cow, a giant stuffed cow my son always towed through the church for each pageant when
    he was a little kid.

  52. Every year we drive for 5.5 hrs to visit my in-laws. Our daughter loves the fact that “Santa” drops off gifts at grandma’s and at our house! =] Love this collection you’re displaying!

  53. Favorite Holiday tradition is a birthday party for Jesus on Christmas Eve before we head to church for a candle light ceremony.

  54. Fabulous projects! Love the treat box and the gift card holders. Love the MME papers too… Thanks for the chance to win!
My favorite holiday tradition is my holiday baking. I make about 4 kinds of cookies and package them up to give to some neighbors and some of my co-workers. The cookies would great in your gift boxes!
    DeniseB

  55. This set looks so bright and fun. Thanks for the chance to win. You have such wonderful ideas.
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree. When our kids were young they all helped with the decorating. Even as they moved away, they would help if they were home when the tree went up, and now we have grandchildren who love to come and help Grandma and Grandpa decorate the tree.

  56. I love the colors of these papers; one of my favorite holiday traditions is packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child (Samaritans Purse). Our goal this year is to fill 1500 boxes……

Thanks for the chance to win.

  57. My favourite holiday tradition is having my WHOLE family together, (no matter where they live,) and going to midnight mass. There is just something magical about it. 🙂

  58. What a fun set with great color combos!
My fav tradition is getting a new Hallmark ornament each year for the tree. Mom got my first one in 1982 (candy train engine) and I still have it. Now I get a new ornament each year for my kids…by the time they are grown, they will have a start to their own trees!

  59. My favorite holiday tradition is making Fruit Cake in August and then sprinking the rum on it over the next few months……….and letting it age until Christmas……….along with home made plum pudding & buttered rum sauce………… I really like this collection you have done up for us. Thanks for the chance to win.

  60. Love all your projects made with this collection. One of my favortie traditions is…our daugher always decorates a ginger bread house. Thanks for the chance to win!

  61. My favorite tradition is listening to Christmas carols, a cup of hot chocolate and trimming the tree. I love to reminise as I hang many of my ‘special’ ornaments.

  62. My fave tradtion is decorating my tree Dec 1st and putting on the Angle that I bought withmy mom when I was 3 and have had on our family tree for 41 years, I am the family “Christmas Freak” which I got from my mom, who has been gone now for 11 years and it keeps her memory alive at Christmas whcih was her fave tiem of year 🙂 We had a tree in 4 rooms when I grew up, even a small one in the bathroom.

  63. Thanks for the opportunity to win this prize! Love the paper and all those colours! My fave tradition is simple. I make all the bon bons (xmas crackers) every year. Fill them with bad jokes, great choccies and a gift. Its set up on the table and can not be open until after dessert! A great teaser for all! But what a bonus little pressie on xmas day!

  64. My favorite Christmas tradition is listening to christmas music and baking cookies and making rock candy with my granddaughters Didn’t have many christmas traditions when I was younger as my mom died 3 days before Christmas, when I was 12. When I had grandkids, I vowed to make sure they had lots of family traditions.

  65. My favorite holiday tradition is when all the family gathers from near and far for Christmas dinner at my Mother-in-Law’s house. It’s difficult to get everyone together at the same time in our family because everyone has extended family to visit. Somehow we manage to get everyone there on Christmas. We get to catch up with people we haven’t seen all year. Just spending that quality time together makes my year! Time is precious and in this day and age, it’s harder to come by. For one day a year it seems that everyone drops everything and makes it a priority to see each other and create new memories together. Since I lost both of my parents, this time is even more special to me. I don’t care about the presents and all that commercial stuff. It’s the family time I treasure the most. Anyway, now I’m misty eyed. LOL Thanks for a chance to win this amazing paper collection. Great tutorials, as usual. Thanks for the Friday Freebies!

  66. My favorite Christmas tradition was when my sons were still at home, and we would string popcorn and cranberries for the tree. Most of the gifts we gave each other were homemade. Also, I would make a big gingerbread house and donate it for our school’s music and arts program fundraiser. Certain foods were also a tradition at our house for the holidays. My favorite movies to watch are “White Christmas” and “A Christmas Carol.”

  67. My favourite Christmas tradition is having all the family together for Christmas lunch. Also decorating the tree.

  68. My fav tradition is making roll out Christmas cookies that my mom made for over 40 years. Last year I got the opportunity to pass this down to my niece and make them with her for the first time. My favorite shape was always the Christmas trees and my job was to add the sprinkles. Eating them makes me feel like I’m 8 years old again!!
    Merry Christmas to all!

  69. My favorite tradition for Christmas is baking cookies with my two sons, nephews, and niece. They love decorating cookies for Santa. We love watching the kids decorate cookies. It puts a big smile on my face just thinking about it. Good luck everyone!

  70. I am having a gift card holder workshop in three weeks so your timing is, as always, amazing. I am really enjoying the paper collections used that last few weeks. I would love it if you would share where you got the amazing little candies used in the CD treat holder. How perfect are they!!!! My favorite tradition is our family dinner on Christmas Eve. When I say family I mean FAMILY…my mom has five sisters and all of them gather along with their families to celebrate and catch up on the past year. It is a crazy, exciting evening that usually lends itself to some pretty interesting surprises.

  71. My favorite holiday tradition (good for all holidays) is all new recipes every year. I love to try new dishes and meals are never boring. Don’t worry, I let other family members make a few family favorites too.

  72. Love your projects and the paper is so perfect.

Not so much a tradition, but I love having Christmas music playing. Old and new artists singing the traditional songs, and I’ve been known to join in from time to time, like every song. Chex mix, boiled custard and English toffee are some traditional foods I like to serve at Christmas time. (Not necessarily all at the same time.)

  73. I really like seeing several projects that can be completed with a collection. These papers look wonderful. Our favorite tradition is putting up the tree and listening to Christmas music .

  74. One of my favorite traditions is to buy a 1000 piece puzzle, and we work on it throughout the Christmas break. We love to stay up late until bleary eyed. Once finished we glue it together and mount it on poster board and mark the year. Every year we go back and look at the previous years’ puzzles.

  75. Thanks for another great chance to win some amazing product! My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the tree. My aunt has given my siblings and I an ornament every year – and she is now continuing this tradition with our kids. Those are the first ornaments that go on the tree. It’s so much fun to look at each ornament and remember back to when we got them.

  76. Love MME…they have such fabulous designs and colours…
My fave holiday tradition is sending and receiving Christmas cards via snail mail Canada Post!!!!
I think more and more people are getting away from taking the time and the tradition to send actual cards….but I LOVE receiving mail and look forward to the cards every year.

    Cheers. 🙂

  77. Christmas tradition was to always wake up early in the morning and wait for the kids to come down to see what Santa had left. Of course Santa’s presents were never wrapped but just under the tree.

  78. This paper is gorgeous!! Thanks so much for Freebee Fridays!
My favourite holiday tradition is opening Christmas presents Christmas morning (who doesn’t love that??!)
    🙂

  79. First of all, love all the projects you made using the My Minds’s Eye collection. I just recently saw their papers and love them all, especially the fun and whimisical colors they used. My favorite holiday tradition; actually I have two, would be that we go over to my aun’ts house on Thanksgiving and then after dinner and dessert all the girls get together and go through the ads for Black Friday and then do a craft together. My other favorite tradition would be going over to my mom and dad’s on Christmas Eve with our 3 boys. She always makes their favorite dish of meatballs and spaghetti…not a typcial Christmas Eve dinner, but the boys wouldn’t have it any other way! Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to win!

  80. This looks like a really wonderful paper pack — love those colours!
My favourite holiday tradition is baking cookies and other goodies with my daughter. I love the quality time we spend together, and then everyone can enjoy the treats afterward!

  81. Love, Love, Love this collection from My Mind’s Eye! Then again, I love ALL of My Mind’s Eye papers.
A tradition that my husband and I started is to invite our unmarried/unattached friends over for Christmas Eve and to prepare the venison (that he had butchered a few weeks earlier from Deer Hunting) a different way each year. It’s fun picking out the new recipe with my husband and our friends look forward to it (and hanging out with us) each year.

  82. One of my favorite holiday traditions is setting aside a date in early December to make Christmas ornaments with my two daughters. When they were little, money was tight, so we made Christmas ornaments to hang on our tree each year. (I still have most of them) Now they are both married and have homes of their own, and we cherish our time together making ornaments, not because we have to, but because we LOVE to. We make one special ornament alike, so we each have the same ornament on our trees. The time spent together is very special to all of us.

  83. My favorite Christmas tradition is anything involving the family from decorating the tree to the holiday meal…always remembering the true meaning of Christmas.

I love MME papers and thank you for the chance to win this collection.

  84. My favorite Christmas tradition: On Christmas Eve, we sleep in sleeping bags on the living room floor with the Christmas tree lights on and Christmas music softly playing. Talking well into the night as everyone drifted off to sleep. With 7 children, it was crowded there for a while, but now they are grown and I’ve only three left! 🙁

  85. My favorite Christmas tradition is staying overnight at my daughters’ house, and along with her younger sister, we put on jammies, pour some wine, have a table full of yummies to munch on, and we watch “It’s a Wonderful Life” I cry and laugh at the same spots every year! The bonus is waking up with my 4 Grandchildren on Christmas morning!

  86. I never miss yur Freebie Friday tutorials. I love watching your videos and follow up with the print-outs. Your projects are the greatest. Always so creative and useful. The paper is gorgeous. As for a favorite tradition, it is still the Christmas stockings. Can’t do wothout those no matter how old the “children” get!

  87. My favorite tradition is listening to my favorite Christmas cd’s in the car by myself! I usually start early in October.

  88. My favorite tradition is to stay up late to pack my kids stockings & hang them. Wake up early for church, entertain guests then open pressies under the tree at night.

  89. My favorite tradition is having my Grandkids over to bake tons of Christmas cookies. So much fun !!!

  90. My favorite Christmas tradition is joining family for a holiday meal. I always look forward to getting together with my sisters and brother and all their kids. I miss them so much throughout the year – everyone lives so far apart. The funniest time was when after dinner, my brother was teasing my niece about eating too much when his chair broke and he fell strait in the floor. We all laughed until we cried.

  91. Our family is very split. Lots of parents so for every christmas for the last 5 years for our daughter and 3 years for our son, has been travel either all the way to Victoria Australia every second year for the Nanny, Pop and Uncles over there or the Xmas morning at home then off to the Grandma and Grandpa’s for afternoon and then boxing day to the other Nanny. Not forgetting the adoptive parents place on the 27th. It has been very busy around this time for many years and traditions are difficult but we all have lots of fun in the process. I personally love christmas and think that everyone has a little spark for it wether they admit or not. Best wishes for the christmas time.

  92. My favorite holiday tradition is putting up the tree on the Friday after Thanksgiving, of course after all the shopping. My family cranks up the Holiday/Christmas tunes on the stereo and we go to town decorating the tree.

  93. I have never seen My Mind’s Eye before. I love all the bright colors and how it will apply to lots of applications. This set will be so fun to use for scrapbooking pages after Christmas. Thanks so much for sharing.

  94. My favorite Christmas tradition is letting one of the children put the angel on top of the tree, each got a new ornament for the tree on Christmas Eve along with a new Pair of Christmas PJ to wear. Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way.

  95. Appreciate you showing us My Mind’s Eye paper collections as I’ve never heard of them! My favorite christmas tradition is going to church christmas eve and at the end of the service everyone gets a candle and we outline the inside of the church and the paster lights his candle and lights the candles of the two people on either side of him and we sing Christmas carols while the candes are being lite! Very special time for everyone

  96. Wow what an awesome giveaway. I hope this post qualifies me to win; I would love to make all these projects using this paper. Good luck everyone and happy Veterans Day!

  97. Hello Andrea. It is only 11:45 here in Utah. The Christmas paper from My Minds Eye is beautiful and i like the projects you made with it.
My favorite tradition is having my grandchildren and children over for a big home-cooked meal and watching them open up their presents. We also have a photo of the birthday person in a frame when we celebrate birthdays. On Christmas I put a picture of Jesus in a frame and we wish Him a Happy Birthday. Thank you for all you do.

  98. What a bunch of treats today! My favorite holiday tradition is making a holiday wreath out of bread dough, (make a ring of dough, then partly cut through at intervals to create openings to fill with cherries, red and green. This is eaten Christmas morning along with egg nog, so at least the kiddies have some nourishment before the excitement of opening their presents.

  99. My favorite Christmas tradition- since I was I kid- is the Christmas songs that children sing in every house, in every neighborhood and everybody gives them sweets or money to buy their Christmas presents. Here in Greece we call this KALANTA! Love the colours and the patern of those papers…

    1. Oh and duh.. Our favorite Christmas tradition is to have all the family together on Christmas Eve for home made Clam Chowder and sharing time together.

  100. I feel all Christmassy after reading the previous posts – lovely feeling! My favourite tradition in our family is that my son chooses something from his wrapped pile to open on Christmas Eve, just one, and we have Monteverdi Vespers playing quietly in the background and little plates of nibbles all around, with egg nog.

  101. Love the papercollection ànd wat you did with it. My christmastradition is to decorate the house with al kinds of things ànd putting up the tree. Last 2 years the tree became a circle om the ceiling became i have a lot of young cats. Love to put up everything like my village ànd even put in the treedecorations my soms made at kindergarden ànd they are 24 ànd 21 niet

  102. There are a few things that get me in the Christmas mood , The papers from MME is a big one…beautiful papers and wonderful projects to make with them. Thank you so much for this chance to win the papers.
Our Christmas tradition is to make Divinity candy, my Mother used to make it every year and since she passed it has been up to me to make it, I feel like she guides me through it from above!

  103. My favorite Christmas tradition is spending one day in December with my sister. We shop for the presents for each other’s family and we buy our own presents (only the main one) for each other. We have lunch out and go to a different place every year. Being 70/71 years old we tend to keep nearer home these days. I would love to win your wonderful freebees and always love your projects.

  104. Thanks for the chance to win this great designer paper. Christmas is definately my favourite time of year, and there are so many things I love about this time of year. But I guess the best has got to be Christmas Day with our family. We all meet up for Chirstmas Dinner, (typically Engish Turkey with all the trimmings) so there are usually about 18 or more of us around the table. But before that we all split up into smaller groups and have a go at the yearly general knowledge quiz which is painstakingly organised every year by my brother-in-law. It’s great fun and goes on for a good couple of hours.

  105. Always beautiful ideas given on your site. My favorite Christmas tradition is making shortbread cookies with Christmas cookie cutters and sprinkles of course they don’t last long. Love the give away papers just gorgeous thanks for offering this prize. Good luck to all.

  106. I love the MME papers & have bought several different lines over the years. My favourite holiday tradition is opening our stockings. Even though DS is now almost 26, it’s still a tradition that he enjoys and doesn’t want to give up. I also make a Scrambled Egg Casserole for Christmas breakfast and have been doing so for the past 15 years. My son wouldn’t even try it for the first 5 yrs and then when he was about 15 yrs old, he tried it & of course loves it. Since then I’ve had to double the recipe to make sure that there is enough for him to have it again before he goes to bed. My mother who is now 87, also has been sharing this Christmas morning tradition with us for the past 15 yrs. This year it will be tricky as I’m having knee surgery in early Dec and my mother isn’t able to come to my house if it’s snowing out (we’ve been taking her breakfast to her for the past few years) and with DS starting a new job he’s working on Christmas Day. Regardless, traditions go on & somehow I’ll make our favorite breakfast & everyone will will be able to enjoy it. Thanks for the chance to win.

  107. One of my favourite traditions is listening to Christmas music while I bake cookies. The house is filled with the wonderful scent of sugar and spice and the air is filled with music that I love. Every year I buy a new Christmas CD, so my collection is always growing and changing.

Thank you for the chance to win.

  108. Thank you for the chance to win, what you offer is, as usual, exquisite! I just love your taste in all things paper! On Christmas day we get to open our Christmas stockings in the morning but we all have to wait until after lunch for the presents. It makes the excitement last all day long and we are really able to savour and enjoy the spirit of Christmas for the whole day! I can’t wait to see what other exciting projects you come up with over the next few weeks! I just LOVE everything you do and open your emails as soon as I see they come! Thank you again!

  109. You are really inspirational to me and I am sure to everyone. Thanks for all you ideas (without thjem I would be useless!!!)

Thanks for allowing me to ‘C A S E’ you. Love inking with friends!

  111. I love most everything about the holidays, they are my favorite time of year! I especially enjoy holiday baking and wrapping gifts. I load up my 5 disc cd changer with my fave holiday music and go to town! My daughter and I do these together when possible, but since she lives in New Jersey now, it’s not that often! 🙁 In recent years my husband and I have started a tradition of bakubg treats the Saturday before Christmas for him to take to share with co-workers in the office. The love it and look forward to it each year now! And, I love going ‘home’ to visit both of our families for Christmas! Now that there are grand nieces and grand nephews from ages 9 – 1yrs it makes it even more fun and special!!! 🙂 Happy Holidays to your and yours!

As a beginner I am learning all kinds of techniques from your tutorials thanks so much for sharing 🙂

  114. My favorite Christmas tradition is getting together with all of my family for Christmas Day. We never know how many will be there as everybody has different schedules. But, whether there are 5 or 75 attending, it is the most special time for the whole year. My mom started this tradition, and it really is not the same without her now, but we have still kept it going for over 30 years since she was last able to host. I’m sure her spirit is here with us, smiling, and saying “awesome job girls”!!!

  115. Who has enough paper!!!! I love the package you are giving away and again….who has enough paper?!?!

Anyhow, my favorite Christmas tradition is knowing that our Lord was born, came from Heaven as a helpless child lived among us, and sacrificed Himself as one of us in order that we might live with Him forever!

  116. The holidays are always so hectic and involve so many “things to do”. Cooking, baking, Christmas music and spending precious time with family and friends to build memories. When I was a young mother, I tried to fit it all with our children. Family traditions were always so important to me. Going to church Christmas eve and coming home with children so excited to know Santa was on his way. Today our family Christmas is celebrated the day after Christmas day . One of our children works in a hospital on Christmas day and I discovered celebrating Christmas the day after was much more relaxing and enjoyable. The magic of Christmas lingers in the air much longer and the pressure of the holiday does not seem to be there anymore. Everyone comes relaxed, hungry, and ready to spend time by the tree and fireplace catching up over the past year. I love the colors in this MME collection. I would love an opportunity to win this give away and make my Christmas gifts! Thank you for sharing!

  117. I love MME paper and I live by the adage, one can never have enough paper! thanks for the chance to win!

Our favorite tradition is going to pick out our Christmas tree. It used to be easier (but not as much fun!) when my girls were babies, but now that they are 7 and 9 we have to traipse every inch of the tree farm to pick out the perfect tree. I love every minute of it and so do my girls.

  118. Our favorite Christmas tradition is decorating cookies. This is an entire family affair. That includes kids no matter what age. I must admit it takes me a day to clean up afterward but it is worth the fun that precedes it. The kids even have their own holiday aprons and hats.

  119. Our favorite tradition is putting up our silver tree from the 60″s. It makes me happy eacher year.

  124. I love everything about the Christmas Holiday. Decorating the house, baking cookies, making gifts, and shopping. I use the decorating of the Christmas tree like an advent calendar. That way I am not overwhelmed and it gets done with excitment for the next day. I have Christmas dishes, glasses, pictures to hang on the wall besides making the house have the smells of winter. (I live in Arizona) Then in Jan. I get to relive this fun month with my scrapbooking of the pictures and remembering the good time.

We listen to our favorite Christmas music and decorate for hours!

  127. Favorite tradition would have to be putting up our Nativity set on the fireplace mantle. Every time I unwrap and ‘set’ a piece, we pray for someone or something. Thanks for the chance to win. I love this series, and if I lived closer, I would attend every one of your workshops!

Favorite Christmas tradition is gathering with adult kids and grandkids on Christmas Eve, having a light meal, sitting by the tree as one of the adults or older kids reads the biblical story of Jesus’ birth, revisiting Christmases past, and listening to the younger kids especially as they anticipate Christmas morning when we all gather again. Much to be thankful for.

It takes us a day to make, and brings us together to share and laugh and talk while we work on creating and baking this yummy seasonal treat! Thanks for this wonderful giveaway opportunity!

  141. Christmas Traditions! So many to choose from; however, I would have to say making cookies. I did this with our children as they were growning up. Now, we have seven grandchildren and it is again a wonderful messy time with no cookies to show for our trouble because they are eaten almost as fast as they are decorated!

Even though my children are all grown they have all said that the stockings were their favorite times, so much that we have never stopped the tradition! Now the kids purchase things for Mom and Dad, to the point where they are overflowing! We love searching for small, tiny, useful gifts throughout the year and enjoying the ooohs and ahhhs as they are revealed.

  154. Favorite holiday tradition was started by my youngest son when he was about 5 years old. Then we all put them on and go to bed to get a little bit of rest before we get up bright and early on Christmas morning all wearing our new pajamas.

  157. Christmas is for cookies–baking, eating, packaging, giving, learning new recipes! I love anything related to Christmas cookies. I don’t have a favorite; I love them all. Although I’ve never crafted with My Mind’s Eye products, they look fun. Think what delightful enhancements they would make to cookie wrapping!

  158. I’ve never heard of My Mind’s Eye. I love the Mischievous Collection Pack. Christmas if my favourite time of year. I could really use this to brighten up my stocking stuffers and smaller gifts I make. I hope my name is picked. I sure could use some good news. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful projects.

    Keep them coming.

  159. Since moving to central Wisconsin 19 years ago . . . we have gone to the same Christmas tree farm to cut down a tree with our guys. Since our oldest started college, we went with an artificial tree so he could help decorate it while home for Thanksgiving. Ever the traditionalists, however . . . the guys still insisted we go and cut down a tree from the very same tree farm (where you get amazing hot apple cider and the first taste of candy canes for the season!) so the real tree now graces our deck ~ the lights look beautiful covered with freshly fallen snow 😉
Thanks for the inspiration to get going on making my Christmas cards this weekend!

  160. A holiday tradition in our family is we like to go to a Christmas tree farm with our kids and chopped down our own Christmas tree! They have a shop there too, with free hot chocolate. While drinking our hot chocolate we go and shop for a new Christmas ornament. It’s a cold time of the year bit a lot of fun!!

  161. We have a lot of family tradiitions at our home. One tradition every year I would have a new pair of PJ’s for our daughters under the tree for them to open Christmas morning. Our daughters (now living in their own homes still come to our house Christmas Eve) they wear the PJ’s I gave them the year before so they will have them on to open their gifts Christmas morning. We cook breakfast together after opening our gifts.

  162. I love all of our holiday traditions, especially all the crafts and baking!! We also chop down our own Christmas tree, we always look for the “Charlie Brown” tree so that all of our special ornaments will be very visable on the tree!! It’s starting to snow here now, we are already excited for the holidays!

  163. I love the MME 12 Days of Christmas Collection. Its bright and non traditional colors would make up into spectacular holiday projects. Love the videos. Thank You.

  166. Our favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree. My SO puts together and fluffs the artificial tree; puts the lights on and then I decorate it…the last couple of years; he has done it all; carefully choosing ornaments that we bought together and adding lots of the ones that I have made in years past. I love the paper that you are featuring and the pink is a great touch! Also your tutorial videos are the best quality for really being able to see what is going on. Thank you so much and Happy Holidays!

  167. My favorite holiday tradition is to get up early (around 5 am) on the day after Thanksgiving. I meet my daughter and we shop and catch all of the great bargains around town! We then head back home to our own houses, and put up our trees and decorate the home. this has become a tradition for the two of us to spend some time together. Later in the same week-end we meet at the local scrap store and spend some hours together working on whatever project we have. It is a great start to the crazy few weeks before Christmas when there never seems to be enough time to spend relaxing. My Mind’s Eye is one of my favorite paper’s these days, since I first saw them last year, I fell in love with their products, I just love their color combinations!

My kids are now 20, 17 and 14 and STILL look forward to (and brag about!) these traditions!

  170. Each year our children and my husband and I receive a new ornament for our Christmas tree. It is always something that represents a favorite thing of theirs, learning of a new skill, or something that epitomizes their personality that year. Often these are homemade. One weekend before Christmas we will pull out all the sleeping bags and arrange them around the tree and have a family campout in the living room. We will have only the tree lights on, read Christmas stories and play “I Spy” pointing out different ornaments.

  176. Wow just beautiful projects! So colorful and cheery.
My favorite tradition was to hang a small stocking on the tree and each year there is something special (not expensive, but meaningful) for a special ‘someone’ that year. Each year it can be someone new, but always meaningful. It’s so much fun to anticipate the ‘look’ on the face of the person I’ve chosen. Hugs.

  177. My favorite family tradition was helping my mom clean up after Thanksgiving, knowing we would put the Christmas tree up the next day. One year money was tight so she taught us to make paper ornaments and how to string popcorn. After becoming a parent of two boys, I continued the tradition of putting the tree up the Friday after Thanksgiving and having them help me decorate it. Each year we made one ornament that was handmade. Those are still their favorite ornaments. The saltdough stars with glimmering paint still look beautiful.I can’t wait to share that tradition with my future grandchildren.

  178. I just LOVE……LOVE the holidays! I also have started getting the Christmas cheer on. I hope I win. Thanks for all the two of you do!

We always fill them with homemade preserves, cookies and candies. This paper collection would make our toppers look awesome! Thank you for the chance to win.

  180. When I was young, my mom would get ornaments from a different country each year. Along with the ornament, a book about how the country celebrated the Christmas season would be with it. My favorite was Denmark. Starting on Dec. 13th you would put out a shoe at night and if you were good, the elves would leave something in our shoe. One year my dad put both shoes out and he received nothing from the elves because he was greedy. This tradition has been passed down 3 generations. Now since I do paper crafting, I get to make boxes, cards, and ornaments to put in my grand nieces shoes. This wonderful Christmas give away wold be perfect to make things for the girls shoes if I am lucky enough to win. Thanks for showing us these wonderful ideas and paper.

  181. My fav holiday tradition is NOT shopping the day after Thanksgiving; I stay home on that day to avoid the crazy shoppers! I love decorating my home & front yard with Christmas cheer. Thanks for the chance to win!

  183. a faav. tradition is BAKING!!! and so much of it, too; love to make the shortbread cookies, nut cake & soaked in (NOT telling!!), more cookies, rum balls; it’s not a dieters home, but it’s a once-a-yr. thing!

  184. Thank you for chance to win the lovely Xmas papers. Our favorite Christmas tradition is getting together with all the grandkids and making cookies.

  185. My favorite holiday tradition is at Christmas when we hide a present for each family member and then you have to follow the clues to find your gift. It’s so much fun to see everyone trying to figure out where their gift is. Thank you for all of the inspiration you share with us.

  186. Your projects are fantastic, the Christmas papers certainly add the festive touch.
It would be great to win this prize and re-create some of your great designs.
Our favorite Christmas tradition is to make handmade Christmas ornaments bfor the children as a yearly keepsake.

  187. My favourite Christmas tradition has to be having all the family in one place for a meal on Christmas Day. I have a dedicated tablecloth that I started years ago and everyone writes their name, the date and a short message on it during or after the meal. The smallest among us trace the outline of their hands. It is such a trip down memory lane and the family has come to look forward to seeing what everyone wrote in past years, even themselves! It’s like a living, loving diary – a connection to each other.

  188. Our family tradition is the first ornament on our tree is the last one taken off the year before. This ornament has been hanging on our mantle all year to remind us that we should keep this holiday spirit with us the entire year. We took turns hanging the first ornament.
I love My Minds Eye paper, it is one of my favorites and when it first hits the shelves of the LSS, you need to grab it because it doesn’t last long. Adding the touch of pink this season is even better.

  189. One of my favorite traditions was going to my grandmothers after church service on Christmas Eve. When she past away we went to my In- Laws. Now I’m the Grandma and get to carry on the tradition. Nothing better then spending time with children on the Holidays. I like your ideas and videos. I am very glad my friend told me about your blog and website.

  190. Our favorite Christmas tradition is the Christmas Eve gift. It is a competition to Be The First, to say ‘Christmas Eve gift’ on Christmas Eve, to as many family members as possible so that you will be awarded The Christmas Eve gift! Of course with the advent of email, etc. creativity is at its peak and rules must be established! Have fun establishing this tradition in your own family, and thanks for the opportunity to win!

  191. My favorite holiday tradition is baking for our annual cookie exchange. I have holiday music playing, wear a Christmas apron, drink a holiday blend coffee and the house smells fantastic. Christmas has arrived once I hit baking day!

  192. My favorite Christmas tradition is , first the purchase of a real tree then decorating it while listening to Christmas music and having hot chocolate. Then we turn off the lights awwww…. its always beautiful even when the kids pick-out a charlie brown tree. I always eagerly await each new project you show us. I would love to have a chance to win the freebies.

  193. Thanks for the opportunity to win this set – I love the look of MME products but haven’t yet had a chance to try it!
We have so many traditions! Lets see, a full evening of wrapping gifts and boxing them up to mail to family “back East) while watching The Sound of Music is a favorite! Setting out milk, cookies and a carrot for Rudolph was a favorite of my kids for many years! Christmas morning, we opened stockings before breakfast and ate the orange that was nestled in the toe! Then, it’s gift opening time after which we phone relatives to wish them all a Merry Christmas. While dinner cooks we relax with coffee and hot cocoa and enjoy our gifts then put out a big spread with all the trimmings! Oh, Christmas Day is such a joyful day. Christmas Eve sees us at my favorite service of the year – a candle lighting service! Carols…oh…I’m getting excited!
Thanks again for the chance to win this beautiful collection!

  194. WOW… I am a big fan of Mind’s Eye! This would be awesome because one of my traditions is to make all my Christmas cards myself… now mind you they might not arrive by Christmas… but they are specially handmade for the person receiving them… I don’t mass produce one card! Crazy I know!

  195. My favorite Christmas tradition is having the whole family, though it is getting smaller every year, for a time to open presents and have a yummy breakfast when we are finished gifts. This year will be even more meaningful because of my little granddaughter…she is so precious. Also, my sis has terminal cancer and this will probably be her last Christmas with us. This makes it even more special.
Your talent is so awesome. I always love seeing what you have created. Thanks so much for sharing with all of us!

  196. Fantastic projects, i’m sure to try them out this christmas season…would love to add these fabulous papers to my stash…thanks for the info and the chance to win..

  197. Definitely for me decorating the tree (as much of a hassle as it is….
!) is my favorite tradition. My daughter enjoyed doing an advent calendar last year. And watching all the traditional Christmas faves is always fun, too.

Super cute goodies! Can’t wait to check out the scrapbook pdf! 🙂

  198. I love the projects you made with the My Mind’s Eye collection, especially the gift card holders. Thank you for sharing your talent. My favourite Christmas tradition is attending Christmas Eve services at our church. After all the rushing around, I feel so calm when the services begin.

  199. I love MME products! Thanks for the chance to win. My favorite memory and tradition is midnight mass. While all of us siblings (7 of us) were at mass, my parents would set out all the presents under the tree. Once we arrived home, they would be waiting for us at the door with the lights out so we couldn’t see what Santa left us!

  200. My favorite thing for Christmas is focusing on the true meaning of this Holiday, it keeps me centered with all the commotion going on. My grandson helps to decorate the tree which is fun. Christmas Day we have a tradition of picking a diff. meal theme which can be quite the challenge. My Minds Eye has always been one of my favorite. Thank you for this opportunity to win this.

  201. Our Christmas tradition is always watching “The Christmas Story”. It’s a must. We also like to watch “The Polar Express”. Also, for Thanksgiving, even though I’m not a great cook and don’t enjoy cooking, no matter where we are everyone insists on me making my dressing. It wouldn’t be the same without it. I love the paper and would love to win it.

  202. My favorite holiday tradition is telling the stories of the meanings for each oranment as we decorate the tree…watching the Macy’s day parade on thanksgiving is the start of our holidays!

  203. My favorite thing to do for the Holidays is celebrating with my husbands family Christmas Eve, each year at a different house, and Christmas Day enjoying the morning with our grown children come home and enjoy opening presents and a good meal.

  204. Hello, I live in Australia, I don’t know if I am able to enter your comps.but I check your vidioes each day.
I have just started card making as a hobby, and paper like the Christmas pack would be a great help to me.
I am Male I enjoy doing Christmas things with my Granddaughter, she’s the one who started me into crafting since my heart attacks. I look forward to seeing here once a week as she is is 10 years old and lives 1hour 30 mis drive away from me
    thank you for your videos
    John w

  205. OMG how cute is that pack… and I love those gift boxes you created…

Traditions are in for a shake up here this year following a big year of change for me personally and the earth moving etc … new ones created… old ones revamped… but one thing that won’t be changing this year is the sneaking of little santa pressies into santa socks and snuck into two little girls rooms hopefully without them waking up…

  206. My favorite or maybe better most precious Christmas tradition is putting the picture frames of my family members who are no longer with us (recently deceased since it’s only been 4 years I’ve been doing it) on the tree…this is the last thing we do…we remember them and they are still a part of our Christmas.

  207. Our holiday tradition is to bake chocolate chip cookies to give away as gifts. I have an old family recipe that makes a cookie that rises and is so cake-like…people just love them! As always, thanks for the chance to win!

  208. I love my minds eye and what you created with this collection.
Thanks for helping me to create new projects this year!

    Lisa

  209. Love the paper and did not think you could do so much with it! Love your ideas and my friends love the items that I make for them. They are always looking forward to the next new item I make.

  210. My favorite tradition is baking Christmas cookies for the family. I also put up decorations that my grown sons made as children… It wouldn’t be Christmas without them. My sons always look for them when they come home for Christmas. Thanks for a chance to win the give-away.

  211. I love the vibrancy and joy of these papers….how delish!!! I have watched both VDO’s and love the CD-like treat holder….can see a couple of these being made for school friends. I esp love how diff company’s things can be combined to make magical projects. ooxx

  212. Not sure my last comment went through but these collections look amazing and would love to try them!

  213. Traditional red and green. Thoughts of being little again, growing up with aluminum trees, and then the Victorian era now back to bright red and green. This paper is happy, and the projects are fun. Would love to have a chance to win this prize.

  214. Traditions are a big part of our lives. I love waking up with the grandchildren and watching their wonder and thrill. It’s heartwarming; we then have breakfast and hot cocoa. Of course, we play with the toys to ‘test’ them out!
I like the papers shown above; they are great colors and designs. Talk to you soon…

  215. Awwwwwwww Such lovely colours………Love the projects that you’ve made with them, thanks for giving us the chance to play with them as well

  216. Hi!! Thanks a lot for this great giveaway prizes!! Love the paper collection!!! SO beautiful! My favorite holiday tradition is I think the diner in christmas, because I love the meal that my mom made! And can I see all my family in this special day! And the christmas gifts for my son, I love his face in the morning when he open the gifts!! Thanks a lot! Hugs… Maggy 🙂

  217. My oh my ladies, you are on fire recently. Love the projects and the videos both on the blogs and in PCL. I am a lucky one. I am a member of PCL so I get it ALL 🙂 ! I have been making the same style gift card holder for the last couple of years and really wanted to changed that this year. Thanks for providing the inspiration. I think I will also make the CD treat holder and the treat box. Thanks again and keep them coming LOL

  218. thank for the chance to win .. christmas is my favorite time of the year . love the projects you did using them .. love the work you do on your videos ..

  219. Our favourite Christmas tradition, is to leave one special present for the end of the day, when all the hoopla and noise has gone. to be just our family under the tree with the lights on opening that last present makes a wonderful finish to a very busy day. It is a way to reconnect with our children after all the grandparent and cousins etc have done their thing. Thanks for the opportunity to win the paper, it looks so bright and funky.

  220. Christmas is by far the best holiday that was in our family. Probably my favorite is that we always read the “True” Christmas story from the Bible every Christmas Eve to my 2 sons. And since I collect Nativity Sets, I would hide all the baby Jesus’s and on Christmas morning before they could open presents they would have to find and place all the baby Jesus’s in the matching nativity sets. Each year I would add a new nativity set to make it more fun. What a great way to remind my children that the “Real Reason for The Season” was Jesus, the Greatest Gift of all.

  221. Annual Open house in the afternoon for families, and to follow a Christmas cocktail party for adult friends only.

  222. What an amazing selection of products! Awesome ideas and great variety of techniques Andrea!
One of my favourite traditions is to make handmade cards for loved ones, friends and co-workers. It’s priceless to see the smiles I get in return.
Thanks for this great givaway 🙂

  223. Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations. I find that by watching the videos I am picking up lots of little tricks. Eg: being able to colour the rhinestones and using a dimensional and pop stick on the back of your joy embellishment and to be able to handle easier. Also using the scotch tape as a temporary measure. Mmm! I can see I am going to have to get some Nestabilities. They look great and so easy to use. Thank you so much for sharing.

  224. my favorite holiday tradition is giving my grandchildren the 24 days of Christmas…I get 24 gifts and wrap them and they have a Christmas Tree with 24 boxes around it, and they put a random number in each box and when they open the box they ar able to open the gift that corresponds with that number…so fun..
    thanks for this opportunity…Jan

  225. My favorite holiday tradition is the homemade caramels my mother has made every Christmas season for as long as I can remember. They are delicious! I’m trying to start my own holiday traditions with paper crafts and the Joy gift card holder and the cd sleeve style treat holder are so cute to add to my projects this year! Thank you so much! I love your Freebie Fridays!

  226. My favorite holiday tradition is drawing names for Christmas and giving a gift to the person you drew at our huge family get together. (My mom is one of 15, so our family is huge and growing all the time.)

  227. Love all your projects and the chance to be a winner!! My favorite holiday traditions are putting up my Christmas Village and a tree in each room, including one on the wall in the bathroom; and candlelight service at church on Christmas Eve.

  228. These are great projects for Christmas gift-giving! Our best tradition is our family Christmas dinner and some of our favourite food traditions for this dinner are black olives, Chocolate Yule Log and Snow pudding for dessert.

  229. I have a lot of wonderful Family Traditions. But one of my Favorites is that we make Big Pots of Chili at our Family Christmas Party. My Mom being a single parent to 7 Children, we didn’t have much money. So we would always fix Chili. It’s a very Special Tradition to me. Thank You for the chance to win.

  230. My favorite holiday tradition is gathering with my family on Christmas Eve and watch them comment on my cards and gift tags that I have made myself. I am proud to share my paper crafting with my family and friends. Thank you for the chance to win, winning new products to use is sooo exciting!

  231. SO hard to pick just 1 tradition… my mother rec’d a crepe paper red doll (her body was full of candy) in the 1930’s as a gift. (she was born in 1922) This red doll (very fragile now) was always placed at the bottom of my mothers Christmas tree all her growing up years – through 3 marriages and 5 kids. My mom passed in 1990 and I have that very old, very cherished red doll and she proudly sits beneath my own Christmas tree year after year. ** I now have her in a zip lock bag as my animals like to drink the tree water and I am afraid they will ruin her. Hmmmm, makes me want to get her out and go get a tree. THANK YOU.

  232. My favourite tradition is one my grandmother started when i was a little girl. Each Christmas, she put together a “care package” for me containing candies, pens, trinkets, jewellery, mittens, etc. (all kinds of little, essentials). After she passed away, my mother and sister kept it up and each year I have my remembrance of this “special” box. Every Christmas I end up in tears but am so thankful that this little bit of my grandmother is present. Thanks so much!

  233. LOVE LOVE LOVE the projects you’ve shared here! SUCH good ideas for Christmas and beyond really! Our family has many Christmas traditions…one of our favorites would have to be the decorating of our home. It usually takes us about a week, my husband takes off from work that week, as well and we decorate both inside and out! There is always plenty of Holiday cheer during this time…music, treats egg nog, hot chocolate, scented candles. It’s such a big deal on our street, that in recent years, we’ve had the neighbor’s children come over to help us out! It’s always a great time!
Thank you for the opportunity to win this kit…I just love the festive colors!

  234. My favorite Christmas tradition is making a gingerbread house with my sons. The spicy cookies, colorful candies, sticky frosting and our tree as a backdrop make it the most perfect occasion…for experiencing in the moment & then scrapbooking! We never miss out on this tradition!

  235. wow! love those xmas project. My favorite holiday tradition is gathering with my family on Christmas Eve and going caroling to elderly houses 🙂

  236. I look forward to the time that all the family great grand parents to the young children are all under one roof from morning till wee hours of the night enjoying making new memories and creating traditions and talking about old memories, thanks for sharing the projects

  237. Because I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! Demo, I am just now getting “into” some of the other company’s goodies for card making and crafts. My Mind’s Eye is new to me and so festive and fun! Our favorite Christmas tradition is on Christmas Eve when we start the night with a Prime rib supper at about 6 pm, then it’s into the living room to open gifts by the tree, then we enjoy some dessert and chatting, then about 10:30 we get ready for Midnight Mass at the Church here in our village…a magical candlelit celebration of the Birth of Christ. Then home to bed and a sleep-in now that the kids are all grown. I love your site and enjoy your tutorials immensely.

  238. My favorite holiday tradition is letting each of my children pick out an ornament to put on the tree each year. When they leave my home for their own home, they will leave with 17+ ornaments for their own Christmas tree.

  239. Thanks for your great tutorials. The gift card holders are such a good idea and so needed this time of year. My favorite holiday tradition is attending Christmas Eve service with the entire family and then opening our stocking stuffers which are funny little gifts. We also enjoy getting an eggnog milkshake from McD and then going to look at Christmas lights.

  240. I love My MInds Eye products but have never owned any, so I would love to win. And I love your blog and videos. One of my favorites was the Christmas Pudding video. I had so much fun making the Christmas pudding from punches.

  241. I love all the ideas…and love the tutorials which I play on my Ipad so I can follow step by step

  242. I have very little in a Christmas theme. Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful package.

  243. My favorite holiday tradition is making Christmas cookies with my mom… and now my daughter. Thanks so much for the chance to win 🙂

    Jenny

  244. My favorite Christmas tradition is getting together with family and friends on Christmas eve for our potluck dinner. Everyone makes their special dish. After dinner, we clear the table and play cards and socialize until midnight which is when we open the presents.

    Love your projects!

    Rhonda

  245. My favorite family tradition is gathering with our extended family, ages 2.5 to nearly 70, two weeks before Christmas. We rotate the hosting family from the ‘elder’ generation (that’s me and my siblings now) so that location changes from year to year. We all live within 200 miles of each other. We eat, exchange ‘white elephant’ gifts for the adults and normal gifts for the little ones and just have an all around wonderful reunifying family time. And it’s so much fun to see what we call “Gen 3”, the youngest kids renew their bonds.

  246. My favorite holiday traditions is making gingerbread cookies. We enjoy them with hot chocolate in front of the fireplace until their was no fireplace, now it’s with a movie. Love your videos!

  247. My Mind’s Eye is probably my favorite brand of papers! I always gravitate to that brand anywhere that I go that has scrapbook papers! I love all of your cute projects but especially love the pop up gift cards!
Just finished watching your video for the decorative box for the vintage Christmas ornament and love both of them!! I am actually going to show some friends the technique for making the vintage ornament at a scrapbooking day that I am having in January. I plan on giving them your website so that they too can enjoy all of your fabulous projects!! Thanks for sharing!!

  248. My favorite holiday tradition is making homemade tamales! Our family gets together and makes about 100 of them to eat on Christmas eve and throughout the holiday! We also enjoy making Christmas cookies and sharing them with family, friends, and our neighbors! Thanks for sharing so many wonderful ideas! I love your videos! 🙂

  249. My favorite tradition was our adult Sibling Challenges- to make a gift for $.99 or under that our parents would pick to “win” the coveted (but lame) blue ribbon. Gift wrapping wasn’t included but if we used an item of value, such as an empty pop can, then the $.05 deposit had to count. The seven of us would try our best to center our gifts around our childhood memories- without giving away who made them. We did this for 15 years.

Our parents are gone now but we transitioned to an Ugly Ornament Contest- open to the everyone in the family. This time the only rule is to find and purchase an already made “something interesting”. Still a lot of fun!

Thank you for asking us to share and for generously sharing so much with us!

  250. i love this collection with traditional colours… and the tradition i love the most is just as basic as decorating the tree but it is so important for me to see my kids with sparkles in their eyes while doing so…

  251. My family’s favorite tradition is having a Christmas roll. We make it the night before and my husband puts it in the oven so it is ready by the time the boys get up to check their stockings (fortunately they are not early risers). Teasingly, I told them one year that we weren’t going to do it, and that didn’t go over well. They would rather keep that tradition than receive a bunch of gifts. 🙂

  252. We have many favorite traditions as a family but I would have to say ADVENT is the bestest fav! 🙂 Now that I am making it for my grandchildren it has taken on a whole new meaning.

  253. My favorite holiday tradition was making butter tarts with my grandma and having Christmas dinner with all the family that can come visit. Grandma passed away this year so I guess I’ll have to carry on making butter tarts for her. Miss you lots grandma O:-)

  254. My favorite Christmas tradition is going to midnight Mass. The music and candles and the solemnity of the Mass is such a great way to remember what Christmas is all about.

  255. My favorite Holiday tradition is having my 4 grown children and their families all spend the night on Christmas Eve so we are all together on Christmas morning to watch my grandchildren’s excitement when they look under the tree! This tradition was passed down to me by my parents. My sister, brothers, and I and our families always spent Christmas Eve at their house until they both passed away and I’m sure it’s going to be passed down with my children, too!

  256. My favorite holiday tradition is writing and sending cards and letters to friends and family we don’t get to visit with in person over the holidays… a close second would be Cinnamon Buns Christmas morning! I love the My Mind’s Eye collection… it is nice to have all the coordinated pieces together to make such fun projects… thanks for sharing these ideas!

  257. Every year our family takes turns hosting Christmas Eve and we invite the whole family (including our distant relatives)and we would all get together and have a gift exchange, play my grandparents favorite games, which were always Monopoly and Uno. Afterwards we gather around in the living room and watch christmas movies (A Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th st., etc.) and talk over dinner time about what’s gong on in our lives.

  258. I love the gift card holder. It is a beautiful way to give a gift card. I am going to make alot of these and keep them ready for the times when I just do not know what to buy. I can make it look like I spent lots of thoughtful time to get it.

  259. What a great way to use the paper pack. i often struggle trying to use other pages once i have pulled my favorites. thanks for sharing

  260. Love all the projects. I am familiar with My Mind’s Eye and have used many of their products and love them. Putting up the Christmas tree is my favorite tradition. Suddenly your whole home in transformed. I let the grand kids help me and we have fun!

  261. Fantastic range as usual I dont know how you manage to keep comming up with such exciting new ideas, our Christmas Traditional is simple no matter what is happening in our lives we all get together for lunch or tea on Christmas day, usually include in-laws and a few friends as well.

  262. I’ve been a big fan of MME for a couple of years. I love the quailty and versatility of their papers. My favorite Christmas tradition has evolved over the years. It used to be going to my parents on Christmas Eve with my family. My four siblings and their families would be there as well and the entire family together totaled 20. There was so much love, warmth and joy with all of us being together. Getting to see the excitement and wonder through the eyes of our children was priceless. Since my parents have both passed away, the tradition kind of fell by the wayside. That is until I decided to rekindle it three years ago. Now on Christmas Eve, we all gather at my house and have a blast! It will never be the same without my parents, but I’ve come to look at it as a time for my generation to carry on the tradition. I absolutely love everything about Christmas!

  263. Love these gift card holders! My favorite tradition is doing the advent calendar with my daughter. We read The Advent Storybook while she enjoys the treat from her wooden calendar (the kind with the little doors)

  264. My favorite tradition of the holidays must be the time I spend with my husband setting up our decorations in preparations for our grandkids arrival. It takes us up to 4 days to do the lights, tree and all of the knickknacks in the house. But this is a time we plan together. We have so many friends that love to come and just sit with us and enjoy the “feel” of our home at this time. It’s cozy and loving. I would love to share this experience with anyone that is willing to help us put it all away……..
But I really do love the this time with my honey.

  265. oops forgot to tell you our favorite holiday tradition…..watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” and ” A Christmas Story”

  266. Love this line from My Mind’s Eye. One of our favorite family traditions is BINGO. We all bring a wrapped gift and number all the packages.. everyone one has a gift to begin with and then we steal the gifts from each other as people get BINGO. Eventually we open the gifts and continue to take others gifts. It’s a good tradition and it’s something we look forward to every year.

  267. Wonderful ideas! Thank you for sharing. My fav holiday tradition is picking a Saturday and baking cookies all day long with my daugthers!!

  268. I love the paper and the projects. I like bright and cheery! 🙂

My favorite family tradition for the holiday season is BAKING! I love to teach my girls how to make the same dishes and goodies that their Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma made. I am not nearly as neat as my mom is in the kitchen. We make such a mess, but what wonderful memories.

  269. Our favourite Christmas Tradition is to have Mimosa’s while opening our gifts Christmas Morning… love the fashion shows after the gifts are all open afterwards as well! I would love to win this prize! Thanks for the great idea’s.

  270. Love the paper collection and the projects. As for my favorite tradition, sadly its one that no longer happens as several of the participants have passed away. When I was younger, about 2 weekends before Christmas my aunt and grandmother would come over to our (my parents) house, dad would lay out Christmas albums and put one on the stereo for us before disappearing and then “the women” would spend the entire day baking hundreds of cookies. I loved helping to stir, lick the spoon, decorate and eat the warm cookies.

  271. My favourite tradition is putting up and decorate the Chritmas tree with the kids! And I always add a new decoration to the tree each year for good luck. We love this!

  272. Love the Christmas paper and the chance to win. My favorite Christmas tradition is going up to mom’s on Christmas day for dinner. She makes homemade noodles just like her mom used to make and they are delicious. We take turns opening the gifts and anyone who doesn’t have a place to go on Christmas day is always welcome to join us.

  273. I love decorating for the holidays! I usually start right after Thanksgiving so I can enjoy a festive house all through the month of December.

  274. My favorite tradition is holding a cookie-making day with family. Everyone brings the ingredients for their favorite cookies. We mix them up, bake them, then share. So everyone gets numerous kinds without the expense of all of the ingredients to make different kinds.

  275. My favourite holiday tradition is opening presents on Christmas Eve. We attend midnight Mass and I leave the kids’ bedroom windows open a tiny bit. I have a tape recording ready for when we open the door when we return home. As soon as the door is opened, the recording plays and it is sounds of Santa crash- landing on the roof, with snow on the window sills and one present on each of the kids’ bed. The presents are opened and we all have hot chocolate before going to bed.

  276. My favorite tradition for the Christmas season is decorating the house and Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend! I like to buy “just the right” fresh cut tree, dig out all the ornaments from storage, and decorate the tree and every flat surface in the living room & dining room. I also decorate in the guest bathroom with my “special” holiday towels and shower curtain.

Thank you for sharing all your ideas for using the Christmas paper pack! I might borrow some of these ideas … especially for the gift card holders and treat container.

  277. My favourite Christmas tradition is spending some alone time with my husband on Christmas Eve. After all the madness of shopping, decorating, wrapping and cooking is over, we snuggle on the couch and watch the lights twinkle on the Christmas tree, just the two of us. We know that Christmas Day will be busy with the kids getting up at the crack of dawn because they are so excited. It is great fun to watch them open their presents and to get together with the whole family for dinner. I cherish the quiet time the night before my favourite holiday, even more so when there is a light dusting of fresh snow (icing on the cake!).

  278. My fav holiday tradition is just being with my family! That is the best part!! Everyone is always soooo busy that we can never get together & spend quality family time together except for christmas & sometimes thanksgiving. Along with that, all the yummy food from different ethnic background! A variety of food is always a must!

  279. My favourtie holiday tradition is eating coffe cake and quiche in our pjs while opening gifts. Hope I can come up with my own for my new family this year!

  280. Love this collection! I can see soooo many possibilities! Thanks for the chance to win it.
My favourite Christmas tradition is decorating the tree. We put up the tree (usually artificial, but it doesn’t really matter to me which) on December 1st, turn on the Christmas tunes, pour a glass of eggnog for everyone and decorate. No one is allowed to sit out – everyone helps. The kids even helped as soon as they were able to put ornaments on the tree. Now, at ages 7 & 10, they do the majority, with hubby and me filling in at the top with the more fragile ones 🙂 We also give our girls a new ornament every year. When they eventually move out on their own, they’ll have a good start for decorating their own tree.

  281. Love all of these projects! Gorgeous ideas and I can’t wait to try them! My favorite tradition is going to the children’s Christmas Eve service at church early in the evening and then coming home to watch a movie with the family and drink hot chocolate by the fire! It makes it very important to have everything done for Christmas eve — if it’s not, my evening isn’t that enjoyable and I’m up for the night preparing for Christmas morning!

  282. My favorite tradition is watching all the holiday themed movies…How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, Charlie Brown Christmas, etc, etc, etc. Also, trimming the tree with all my favorite, memorable ornaments!

  283. My favorite holiday tradition is to go out Black Friday with my Mom to check out all the chaos LOL We sometimes dont buy alot, but we have fun and eat well. Thanks for the chance to win.

  284. These papers and the projects created with them are just terrific! Thank you for sharing them and for the chance to bring the papers home!

  285. This collection looks like fun! Thanks for the chance to win! One of our favorite Christmas traditions is to read a beautifully illustrated advent book, starting December 1, that re-tells the story of the birth of Jesus, usually cuddled up by the fireplace with some hot chocolate.

  286. Our family has a tradition of getting new pj’s every year. We wear them on Christmas Eve when we allow each of the kids to open one present, then we put out the milk and cookies out for Santa for his arrival.
Off to bed. Christmas day we get up have breakfast of Mickey Mouse waffles then it is time for opening the presents and seeing what Santa has brought.

  287. Even though I am a Christmas baby, Christmas would still be my favorite holiday. I have been making Christmas ornaments and gifts for over 40 years. When my children were little, my mother (who was recently widowed at the time) would sleep over on Christmas eve to see the grandchildren open their presents. That tradition continued through the years even when they became teenagers. Once they left our home to begin their own homes, my mother would sleep over and share Christmas morning with my husband and me. My mother passed away in January 2008, but we still talk to her, especially on Christmas morning. P.S. Having my birthday on Christmas is a joy in itself.

  288. One of my favorite Christmas traditions is giving each one of my children a special Christmas book on Christmas Eve with a handwritten note inside as well as on ornament that represents something that they accomplished that year. Someday when they have their own homes they will take their books and ornaments with them.

  289. My favorite tradtion is meeting up at my Moms sister house, both sister and grandparents gather. When we were little both sisters and there kiddos would stay the night Christmas Eve and wake up together Christmas morning. Now were older with our own families, we may not see alot of each other over the year BUT were sure to see each other and catch up for Christmas Day!!!
