Do you remember this Graduation Money Holder card I posted last week? Today I decided to create a companion Graduation Cap shaped box that you can fill with treats of another special gift for your graduate. The base of the box is 4″ x 4″, it’s 2″ high, and the graduation cap top is 6″ x 6″. Really, just the perfect size to give a nice gift, without being too big and too expensive to fill if you need to give a lot of them out.
The supplies are actually quite minimal:
Cardstock: 1 sheet of 12″ x 12″ Basic Black and 1 sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ Basic Black
Adhesive: Sticky Strip (Stampin’ Up!)
Accessories: gold cord (fabric store); black brad (Hot Off The Press)
The template and design is one I came up with myself. I also created the tassel myself. Paper Crafter’s Library members can expect to see a video, template and handout for this project in the library next week.
This is great! This would make a cute favour for a grad dinner, or a nice little centerpiece.
Wonderful! This is a great idea for decorating the top of a graduate’s gift!
So cool. I am going to scraplift this, but I promise to link back to you 🙂
I’m going to make a larger version of this to use as a card box for my graduation party.
