Every week on the Paper Crafter’s Library blog we feature a different company/manufacturer and introduce you to one of their fantastic collections or product lines. This week we’re featuring Lawn Fawn, so we decided to create this week’s Free Project of the Week using their stamps. Today’s card is this “Reach for the Sky” card which uses Lawn Fawn’s Sunny Skies stamp. I colored in the image using Copic Markers. The nice thing about Lawn Fawn stamps is that if you are not “into” coloring, then you could very easily paper-piece with their stamps – which involves stamping onto patterned paper in black ink and then cut out the images.

Great color choices for the cardstock and the kite. I learn so much from watching you color, no matter what your choice of tools. Did you purposely coordinate the cardstock with your shirt? They blended perfectly!
Thanks Andrea for a detailed description of Copic colouring. I enjoyed it immensely and hopefully will be able to implement it.
