Today on the Paper Crafter’s Library blog, we’re continuing our weekly featured artist spotlight whereby each week we spotlight a different artist/designer in the paper crafting & mixed media world and introduce you to their fabulous work.  Today we’re thrilled to welcome Jennifer Ingle.

Before we show you Jennifer’s project, let’s get to know her a little bit more…

Hi, my name is Jennifer Ingle.  I am a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a friend.  I laugh.  A lot.  I make things.  Lots and lots of things.  Creating drives me.  You can find me on my blog Just Jingle, on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

For today I have created two cards using ONE stamp set and ONE 6×6 paper pad.  I wanted to show how you can get very different looks using the same supplies and even a similar design!

Love You Always Card

For my first card I created a white card base and then trimmed the bright pink and white large text paper slightly smaller.  I die cut the heart from the center and then stamped my heart and sentiment in two colors before popping the die cut panel up on the card.

I die cut the bow, adhered it to the card and then added just a touch of sparkle with my Wink of Stella brush marker!  I love sparkle!

Be My Valentine Card

For my second card, I began with a white card base again, but this time I added a cool vintage looking patterned panel directly to the base.  I then used the die cut heart that I had set aside from the first card in the center of this one!  I die cut another patterned heart and a smaller one from white cardstock to layer over the large heart.

I also added sparkle to the white heart with my Wink of Stella (I told you I love sparkle!)  A simple banner sentiment, stamped and fussy cut, is layered over the bottom of the hearts and I added a few enamel dots to finish it off!

  1. What pretty and funky cards. I like that you used the Heart Negative on the second card. Waste not want not. Great use of the bow die, too. Great job Jennifer!
