Today on the Paper Crafter’s Library blog, we’re continuing our weekly featured artist spotlight whereby each week we spotlight a different artist/designer in the paper crafting & mixed media world and introduce you to their fabulous work. Today we’re thrilled to welcome Becki Adams.

Before we show you Becki’s projects, let’s get to know her a little bit more…

BeckAdamsProfilePic-06192014-250WHello, I’m Becki Adams. Blackfoot, Idaho, USA, is my home town, the potato capital of the world. I started scrapbooking in 1998 when I was given the assignment to create a scrapbook for a Home Economics class. Like many other scrapbookers my passion for the hobby really started after I had my oldest son in 2001. Since then scrapbooking has become a lifestyle for me and my family. My husband Justin and I have 3 fabulous kids. Cole is 12, Kayleigh is 9, and Austin is 4. I define my style as, colorful, bold, clean and classic. Memory keeping is my passion. I love to share that passion with everyone! I love teaching and sharing my creativity with others. I’d love to share it with you too at BeckiAdams.com.

I love creating layouts to display in my home. I created these three layouts to display in my living room.

Displaying layouts in addition to or instead of framed photos is so much more personal. It not only tells the story of the photo but it also shows my passion for memory keeping and love for my hobby. The display doesn’t have to be fancy one way to display them just uses plain small clothes pins and a string. The second option is displaying them clipped to a clipboard with the clipboard either hanging on the wall or on an easel.

  1. I am really loving scrapbook pages of this size! The photo is not reduced in importance by an over abundance of embellishments, yet the artistry is easily visible…a very nice balance. I especially enjoyed that baseball page. Thanks for sharing your talents with us!

  2. What beautiful layouts and such a wonderful way to display them. I think you’ve set the bar for hanging pictures. From now on mine will be like this, it’s so much more interesting than just a picture. Thank you for the inspiration! You did an amazing job with each one.

  3. What beautiful, sweet, and touching layouts! I just Love the concept of using these layouts as artwork to be displayed around the house. Great job! Thank you so very sharing!!
