Welcome to Spellbinder’s week on the Paper Crafter’s Library blog! Introduction To Spellbinders Edgeabilities
Although I’d be hard pressed to name my absolute favorite Spellbinders product (since I love them all), if you forced me to pick, I’d probably have to say that the Edgeabilities are definitely up there. They are such an incredibly versatile product and you get HUGE bang for your buck – especially if you are someone who loves decorative edges and borders. In the video below I introduce you to the Edgeabilities and show you a bunch of different ways they can be used.

Scalloped Friend Card
In the scalloped friend card shown below (a Paper Crafter’s Library member exclusive) I die cut scalloped borders out of different patterned papers and then pieced them together to create the background on this card.

The baby card below was a free video tutorial that we created for Wow! Embossing Powder week. We used the Spellbinders Edgeabilities to create the decorative edge on the card front.

I haven’t gotten any of the Edgeabilities, (yet). Figured I had to draw the line somewhere and after all I had all those border punches….may have to re-think that concept! Great video. They have some really pretty patterns. Especially like the idea of the inserts not nec. being at the edge/border!

What a cracking card. I think there maybe a lot of possibilities with these dies if you turn them round too. I ran them down 1/3 of my card vertical and horizontal to make a cross pattern background looked fab. Makes a great background pattern.

Hee! I know *exactly* what can happen when you inadvertently overlap your dies when running them through the GC: Mangled mess ‘o steel! I discovered this last week when my *NEW* motifs set came in and I excitedly loaded them all on the plate to cut….This was before the very generous tutorials here on the blog and the *super special, never will forget it now* tip on using that removable tape on the dies to prevent shifting as they roll thru the machine. Thank you for that tip alone!
As always, the projects are lovely! …and I’ve learned that my tendency to place the borders/edges in the wrong direction from what I intended can actually have wonderfully creative results.

I was familiar with you thru Stampin Up videos. Recently, I’ve been wandering YouTube looking for info on edgeabilities…and there you were! Thank you for all the information and the order in which they were introduced at CHA. I’m tickled that now I’ve also found your Paper Crafter’s Library.
