Bella Teapot Gatefold Card

Well I am finally back in the studio in a more regular fashion.  March break means that the kids are home, and we are galavanting a lot.  Between a new dog in our home, and our trips , we have been very busy indeed.  So today’s card is very simple.  I did not want to stress out with a overly intricate card today, as I have a lot of things to catch up on.  So I took this beautiful Stamping Bella image, and colored it using Color pencils and Gamsol.  It gives a softer look then my more intricate full color pencil imges.  I made it into a gate card, as I am starting to introduce some different folds into the library.  The card also features a TP Background which is already featured in the library.  The overall design is clean and simple… the way I aspire to be…..but know will never happen lol.

  1. Andrea and Sophia,

First off – Bravo to both of you on your new adventure…I truly believe we all will be learning even more and more from the two of you! BTW, when I grow up – I would love to possess 1/2 of your wonderful artistic talents!! SHUCKS – I’m already grown up, and definitely older than both of you… Well, that certainly won’t stop me from trying any new ideas that you share, and by golly, you ladies certainly do inspire me to do just that – to TRY!!! I may not always succeed, but it is a fun learning process, which is always a good thing in my book. : )

I do want to “Thank You” from the bottom of my heart for ALL that you are doing, and your willingness to share your beautiful creations, and ideas with everyone.

    Loving Stamping Hugs,
    Barb
