This week for our Free Project of the Week we have this Thanks card. This card features a masking technique using various lace ribbons. I started by laying a piece of lace along the bottom of the White CS. I then spritzed directly over the ribbon using Dylusions ink spray. I repeated this two more times, using different lace patterns, working my way up the CS, creating this beautiful background! Not only did I create a beautiful background, but I also have colored lace ribbon that I can use on another project. The washi tape and greeting add the finishing touches to complete the card.

Love this masking technique! The result is stunning!
What a fun technique! Just goes to show you that imagination goes a long way. You have plenty of it, Andrea. Thanks for sharing it with us.
This is such a simple masking technique but who would have thought of it!!!! So nice to use things you have at home as I do not live near any craft supply stores. Thank you for sharing this !
Nice idea and not hard to do. Thanks.
This is one of my favorites. I love how the card turned out and how you never really knew HOW it was going to turn out. Love it.
Very pretty, Andrea. You can now make 2 cards by using your inked ribbon for a different look. I love cards with great texture.
