Avery Elle Designer – Heather Campbell

Today we welcome Heather Campbell.  We are so excited to have her showcase her work today on Paper Crafter’s Library. You can see Heather’s fabulous project below, but first, here is a little more about her:

HeatherCampbellProfilePic-250W-07222015Hello!  My name is Heather Campbell.  I live just 20 minutes outside of Seattle with my husband David and two children, Parker & Molly.  I’m also a full-time Manufacturing Engineer for one the world’s top aerospace manufacturing companies.  I absolutely love my job but need a creative outlet to keep balance.  I’ve always been crafty, and dabbled in scrapbooking, both digital and physical.  I didn’t start card making until 2011 when I decided I needed a hobby that I could do with limited amounts of time, that required minimal space in the house, and not make much of a mess.  Yeah, obviously I had no idea what I was getting into but I’m so glad I did!

Thanks Darling

I’m so excited to be here today sharing projects using the new Peonies stamp set and coordinating dies.
On my first card, I used a combination of traditional and dot style Copic marker coloring to color in the peony.  I kept this card simple so the peony would be the focal point of the card and used a die cut faux lace strip to draw the eye to the peony.

Hello Friend

For my next card, I wanted a totally different look using the same set.  Here I used gold as the theme and chose watercolors that would be light and elegant against the gold.
