You can use it in different ways, add a subtle accent to your cards or just cover your whole card with it: glitter.
The last weeks I’ve seen a huge amount of glitter coming through on the blogs. One of the names I’ve heard very often is ’Wink of Stella’. These brush glitter markers can be used to add a subtle accent to your projects. They come in different colors but the clear version is really popular. It just fits with everything.
You can see it on this lovely card with a little touch of glitter from Joanna Harty.

Kristina Werner used stardust stickles on her card which gives a lovely shiny detail that looks a bit like the wink of stella brush.

Another way to add a bit of sparkle to your card is found on the card from Nichol Magouirk. On this card she used embossing powder to give that little extra touch. (by the way; I really love that sentiment with the lightbulb!)

And, last but not least, the cards that are completely covered in glitter! They just sparkle all over the place. When I first saw it I was immediately thinking the glitter would be everywhere. I remember those days when you would touch a container with glitter and ’poof’ it was just everywhere. On your hands, in your face, on your clothes, in your hair, on the table, chair… well you get the idea. But it seems that these days are over and the techniques from today secure the glitter way better than in the olden days.
Here’s an example from Jennifer McGuire with a real good video explaining how to do this.
