Featured Artist/Designer: Michelle Leone – 08 13 2015

Welcome to another Featured Artist/Designer Spotlight. Today we’re thrilled to welcome Michelle Leone. Before we show you Michelle’s project, let’s get to know her a little bit more…

MichelleLeoneProfilePic-250W-08132015Hello!  My name is Michelle Leone and I am excited, and honored, to be invited by Andrea to join her in a spotlight feature at the Paper Crafter’s Library!

Just a bit about myself…….I am married (yikes-almost 30 years!), am the mother of three amazing young adults (ages 25, 23, and 20), and live in the Rochester, NY/Finger Lakes area. I love estate sales, public markets, food, wine, cooking/baking, and anything Mackenzie-Childs.

Although I have tried my hand at MANY crafty things, stamping has been my hobby of choice for the last 10 years or so. In addition, I began blogging in 2011 (http://prettyperiwinkle.blogspot.com), just so I could take part in some of my favorite challenges. I am currently on the CAS(E) this Sketch DT (my very first!), which inspires me to stretch my creative boundaries and has provided the opportunity to work with some amazingly talented women!

Some of my card making ‘favorites’ : CAS cards with lots of white space (and maybe a little something “extra”), dies, vibrant colors, and best of all, the many generous and gifted bloggers/designers that continue to inspire!

Peace and Christmas Wishes

Yes, I know…. it’s only August! However, while enjoying my time as a Guest Designer at Frantic Stamper, I fell in love with this beautiful Peace Card Band die. I’ve used Rustic Cream card stock, a bit of soft and subtle patterned paper and tiny little holly and berry dies to fashion this Christmas card. One can never be too far ahead of the holiday game, right??

I LOVE the simple dimension/detail and all of the lovely ‘white space’.
