I love having nesting dies in my card-making materials. If one isn’t quite the right size for a sentiment, I can always move up a size and still use the same shape. I also like that I can use a size bigger or smaller to add a layer or more color to what I’m doing. These are probably the most common ways nesting dies are used, but there are also a lot of other neat ideas out there for their use.

Nesting dies are great for creating layered windows in cards. Lyssa also used banner dies, but created this cheery card with a framed window that opens to the inside of the card.

I love the nesting die cuts! I can frame a sentiment. I can frame a stamped image. They are fantastic for stacking or layering. I usually do two sheets of card stock every time I create a card needing a die cut. I can stamp on a precut shape or I can sponge the edges when I use them in layers.
