This week for our Free Project of the Week we`re featuring a masculine birthday card which uses the Fancy Pants Swagger Collection that we featured a few weeks ago. It`s such a fun collection to work with because there are a multitude of elements that you can mix and match to create. For the base of the card I chose a lined patterned paper that already had hats printed along the bottom. I then layered strips of a variety of different patterns from the collection (all papers were from the 6 x 6 paper pad). I cut a notch into a couple of them, die cut along the top of the woodgrain pattern and then kept one piece simply as a strip. I used nice bold greeting from Artistique Designs – a new stamp line which has not yet been released (these the pre-production samples).
