Whew! What a difficult decision it was to make our selections for our first ever Paper Crafter’s Library Design Team. First off, I want to thank each and everyone of you that took the time to apply for this go-round, and I especially want to thank you for being so supportive of each other. As we checked out each of our design team submissions I noticed that many of you had commented on each other’s posts. It really warmed my heart, and is such a prime example of how wonderful the paper crafting community is.
I really wish that we were able to select each and every one of you, but unfortunately we had to narrow it down to four. For those for that were invited to join the Design Team I would like to extend a very warm welcome – we – the current Paper Crafter’s Library team are very excited to have you on board.
There were many factors that we considered when selecting our team – of course we were looking for different design styles, variety in project types & blogs that were regularly updated, but one of the heaviest factors we took into consideration – given that Paper Crafter’s Library is a video library, was each candidate’s experience with video.
For those that were not selected, many of whom were courageous enough to attempt videos just for this design team call – I want to really applaud you for stepping out and trying something new. Video is a wonderful way to gain experience teaching and to increase exposure to your blog and to your work. I would encourage each of you that were not selected this time around, to continue to create your video tutorials – because in 3 months time, we will have another design team call.

First of all I want to thank Andrea & Sophia for keeping the design team small. I don’t have enough time in the day to spend hours visiting blogs. Sometimes my computer doesn’t cooperate either when I have to sign on the web to read a blog instead of getting it in an email. That’s frustrating!!!
I haven’t visited the blog yet b/c I wanted to thank Andrea & Sophia first. I am looking forward to new things and challenges. Now I am off to read their blogs and leave messages for them.
